This home is spectacular. It is almost too good to be true. I have stayed in many different places worldwide and this is the best. I especially appreciate the little touches like macadamia nut candy to welcome us, lanterns to help us get to the nighttime lava show, laundry detergent, condiments, and just a general feeling of being cared for. Our trip was rejuvenating and exhilarating at the same time and swimming in the waterfall pond made me feel like I was visiting the Swiss Family Robinson.

| I just finished my stay and wish I didn't have to leave. I dealt with Terry who was very nice and helpful. The house was beautiful, the views were amazing and so was the property. The pictures on the site really don't do it justice. I can't wait to plan my next trip and hope that the Mika Taki will be available. Mahalo for opening your home to me for my stay in Hilo. When I was first browsing through different homes
for rent by owner, I initially missed this listing.
Going back and reviewing, I found it and thought
"This sounds too good to be true." After spending
a measley 3 nights there (I wish we had spent much
longer), I learned one thing. Wishes really do come
true. Jamie was great to work with and her house is
truely a gem. The pictures on their web site
actually didn't do it justice. We loved it so much,
we could barely force ourselves to leave it to go on
discoverly trips because just staying in the house
we were constantly descovering beautiful new
things. The waterfall takes some work to get to,
but it is beautiful. If you can't take the strenuous
walk down, that's okay because you can hear it's
quiet roar throuhout most of the house. Staying
here was definately the highlight of our trip.
Thanks so much. As our governor "Arnold" would
say, "I'll be back". Thanks for the peace of life you
shared with us. Truely did an awesome job

"Your home is so beautiful and very comforting. The moment we walked in, all of our stress just left! All of your attention to detail was wonderful.
It was our first experience in a truly 'feng shui' setting and we could honestly feel the serenity. Every bedroom was gorgeous and inviting. They were all unique and we could not even pick a favorite!
The sounds of the rain (which we found comforting) along with the frogs and waterfalls lulled us to sleep most nights. I know we have not had so many peaceful nights sleep in a row away from home.

Every convenience was provided. The beds were incredibly comfortable; we loved lying in bed, feeling the gentle breezes and listening to the music of the frogs & birds.
