| Before coming to Amsterdam to participate in a scientific conference my colleagues and I were fishing in the Internet for suitable accommodation. Luckily we found a place to our hearts’ content. A set of impressive photos and a welcoming face of the hostess added a final touch to the whole picture. So we stayed at Fleur’s for about ten days and enjoyed every minute there. Wish to see how an ordinary Dutch family live? Want to climb those steep stairs and step back to the past? Never tasted a traditional Dutch breakfast consisted of home eggs, delicious cheese and freshly baked buns served on famous blue Dutch china and flavoured with a friendly “Good morning!” from the hosts? Go to Fleur’s and you shall never think about staying somewhere else! Still hesitating where to go and what to see in Amsterdam? Fleur will give you a helping hand and a map. As for us, thanks to Fleur’s advice we discovered a hidden world just in the heart of Amsterdam and thumbed through a couple of books in the open public library. Having trouble with the public transport system and those tricky tickets? Just ask Fleur for assistance and off you go, free and careless about such trifles. Thinking about practicing your English and dreaming of hearing Dutch? At Fleur’s you will plunge into a bilingual or maybe trilingual (including your own language) environment and perhaps afterwards you will make up your mind to study Dutch or another foreign language. So, as you can see, the enumeration of advantages can last endlessly… So just send Fleur an email and get ready for an unforgettable experience with a taste of fresh cappuccino and home-like atmosphere. |

| We stayed with Fleur and Coen at the end of May 2009 and can only sing their praises. We were made to feel so welcome on our arrival and throughout our 5 day stay. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and Fleur provides those little extras that make a stay memorable.... and the breakfast is superb! Fleur is also full of good ideas of where to go and what to see, both in Amsterdam and in the wider area. |

| Fleur and her family are wonderful hosts! It was a pleasure to stay in her B&B and be treated so well. Big delicious breakfasts, excellent hints about things to do that are off the beaten path of tourists and nice company. We visited the Hidden Church and enjoyed it but would not have known about it except for Fleur's suggestion. Also we were able to hear some wonderful chamber music again at Fleur's suggestion. I would highly recommend a stay in her B&B (nice quiet neighborhood, very close to a tram stop)- it was a real treat for me. |

| Fleur's B&B was the perfect place to end our tour of Holland. The neighborhood is quiet, the room is lovely, the BIG breakfast is delicious and Fleur is truly a gracious hostess. Thanks to Fleur's personal interest in our visit, we were well advised by her on things to see and places to eat. When I plan my return trip to Holland Fleur's B&B will be the first reservation I make! |

We saved Amsterdam for the last leg our our trip through Holland. Staying with Fleur and her family gave us an insider’s view of this wonderful city and a colorful, warm and welcome oasis at the end of each busy day. Located on the edge of the city, but within walking distance to the tram, we appreciated quite nights, a restful garden, the best breakfast of our entire trip and great suggestions for sight seeing and dinining. Fluer was the perfect hostess, making us feel welcome and relaxed. The use of bicycles was an added benefit as just a short distance away is a fabulous park with public gardens.
I’m looking forward to my next trip to Amsterdam and will certainly stay with Fleur. |

Every morning when I sit down to my meagre first meal of the day, I think of the feast that was breakfast at Fleur and Coen's table. The hospitality was wonderful and the hosts good humoured and full of interesting tourist hints. I would recommend this haven to anyone! |

| What a wonderful time we had staying with Fleur & Coen!! We can't even emphasize enough how hospitable and kind they both are to welcome us into their home, especially under circumstances that required a last minute reservation! We loved riding the bikes all over Amsterdam, and we miss those breakfasts (not to mention their conversations) just as much as everyone else! We would highly recommend their B&B to anybody! Thanks again Fleur & Coen & kids for taking us in and making us feel so welcome. |

We loved our time in Amsterdam thanks to Fleur and her wonderful bed & breakfast. After quite a bit of traveling through Europe, we were so happy to be in a relaxed and comfortable space that felt like home. Each day started with a magnificent breakfast prepared by Fleur and suggestions for our sightseeing with tips that weren't in our guidebooks. We had bikes to cruise around the city like locals and the neighborhood was a perfect retreat away from the other tourists yet very close to the city center. Very accessible by public transportation, bike or on foot.
Fleur and her family were very gracious and hospitable beyond what we expected. Our room was great and we appreciated having a lovely garden to relax in as well.
This was a perfect ending to our vacation and we looking forward to returning. Thank you Fleur! |

Excellent experience staying in a quiet neighborhood close to public transportation (trams, busses) with easy access to Central Station and the museum district. Wonderful breakfast with Fluer and Coen with time to discuss museums, attractions, tram routes and plan your day. Spend a day on bicycles (provided) exploring the neighborhood, visiting local gardens and eating and sampling at the numerous local cafes, resturants, & pubs.
Very modern, private bath with large shower, on ground floor. Relax in the backyard garden. The quiet neighborhood was a perfect retreat after a busy day in bustling Amsterdam. |

We spent a delightful week with Fleur and her family who greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. They far exceeded our expectations with their hospitality, kindness and consideration of our needs.
Our room was very comfortable and now that we are home we are really missing the wonderful breakfast that Fleur provided each morning. She spoiled us.
We were also pleased that their lovely home was located in a quiet neighborhood with quick and easy tram access to Central Amsterdam.
Thank you all for sharing your home with us. |
