| You will not get a better vacation value anywhere in Turkey. We were extremely happy! For starters, beside the nice place, the owner Dilek is extremely charming and hospitable. That is speaking with 10 years experience living in Turkey and vacationing all over the Turquoise Coast and Aegean. Lykia is still fairly remote and therefor fun to explore, and Villa Olympos is the perfect base to see it all from. The villa has everything for a perfect vacation. The patio with the Iznik tiles will beckon you every evening to sit, relax, talk, grill some lamb Pirzola and watch the moon and Tahtali Dag (Mt Olympus). The friendly and quiet neighborhood will make you feel like a long time resident in no time. Inside is a very cool, clean, and comfortable home with a great washing machine and a HUGE American style refrigerator for that big watermelon you bought fresh down the street market. The beach is close to walk to, but even if you want to drive to it, you are guaranteed a free shaded parking space because most everyone else is staying at a hotel and came in by bus. Other musts: because of the villa's great location, you are just a few minutes from the Tahtali Mountain "Teleferik" cable car that opened in 2007. For 40 lira get the best view in Turkey, see 1000 year old Cyprus trees from biblical times from above, and step onto the highest point in coastal Turkey and see your vacation map from Side to Finike live at your feet. Eat a meal, drink a tea and go back down. Wonderful! But just relaxing at the villa becomes to much to resist at times, so enjoy! A couple of other tips: on the main street is a family owned restaurant Montelara that doesn't have the tourist feel and beach party hotel atmosphere. Very inexpensive and the Lavash bread is delicious! Would rent again anytime. Don't miss this one. |

My wife, young daughter and myself have recently thoroughly enjoyed our two week vacation, staying in the very cosy Villa Olympos in the holiday village of Camyuva, quite a small settlement but bristling with colour and friendliness. The general location is perfect for direct access to the local beach, but also with many beautiful and sheltered coves strung along the coast within easy reach. The mountains rear up behind and our off the beaten trach jeep safari, in amongst them, was brilliant, with many spectacular scenes. Antalya is just 45 minutes away, so whilst Camyuva offers tranquility, the bright city lights are still close to. We found Villa Olympos to be a great place for us to stay. It is a beatiful and charming house, excellently positioned with trees and other natural shading that help to keep the house cool while out during the day. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen very well equipped, with terracing and plenty of garden space outside. It is set down a very quiet little street, but still a mere five minutes from all the shops, bars and general local scene. Villa Olympos makes an ideal place to stay for a family, providing comfort, full self catering facilities, including barbecue, but is also in a location making access to a multitude of attractive open air restaurants, set in beautiful locations, all within easy reach. The friendly welcome we received on arrival was very nice. In fact, we enjoyed everything so much, we fully intend to fly into Antalya next year and head for this delightful and excellent holiday base once again. |

Oh my days in Camyuva….It used to be that I stayed in resorts with all the action, but I’ve just stayed at a genuine oasis in this quaint, but growing town of Camyuva. I’ve tried Bodrum, Marmaris and Kemer but Camyuva tops them all for a small town with a resort blend. This little villa suited me and my family perfectly for our two week rendezvous in June. There were four of us meeting from California, New York, Holland and Istanbul. Seated at the base of Bey Daglari Mountain Range and staring straight up at Mt. Olympos, these are the most dramatic mountains that I’ve seen since Hawaii. The house had two very private rooms and a bath upstairs and cool tile throughout. Downstairs there was another bathroom, a great living room and huge kitchen…but it was the three patios where we found ourselves throughout the day. One for the morning, afternoon and the covered patio for most of our meals. It had a authentic Turkish Cesme (fountain) and BBQ grill where we watched the sunset every night we weren’t out seeing the sights. We rented a car that allowed us to see all the sights of the surrounding sights and beaches from this central hub. It’s a short two block to the central beach with lots of piers for diving. Their was also lots of shopping and dining within blocks. I highly recommend this villa and I am sure I’ll return often.

| Wow! This villa was a wonderful place to stay for my turkish vacation. The house is clean and well-kept, with the perfect amount of privacy and convenience. We were in a very central location to everything we wanted to see, including the ancient ruins of Phaselis and the beauty of Mt. Olympos. We would reccomend this house to anybody visiting the south coast of Turkey, and we look forward to the day that we can stay again. |
