Gail and Jeff, What a wonderful "personal" Hawaiian experience. This is my seventh trip to the islands and certainly the one where I really got to see Hawaii. Your invitation to join you in town for the community fundraiser and your gifts from your garden were personal touches that both my son, Brendan, appreciate and will remember. Don't be surprised when you get a return visit from us and a visit from my other son, Michael, who will get a glowing report as will all my friends. |

We really enjoyed the big kitchen with the killer view. the lush vegetation made us feel totally isolated. Where else could you stay & have home grown bananas? The hike to the falls is a must, as well as the mule ride to Kalaupapa. Thanks for your hospitality.

Molokai is indeed the “Friendly Isle” and we think we’ve covered it in great style - From your beautiful round hale to the 26 switchbacks of the Pali, from the shores of Murphy Beach to the full moon so within reach. From Halawa Valley - on the road windier than Hana’s to the georgeous windswept penisula of Kalaupapa’s flora & fauna, From the sea turtles, wild pigs & dolphins at play. To the beautiful coves, waterfalls, and bays. We’ve had a wonderful time. So sorry we have to depart ~ but Molokai will always be in our hearts.

Gail & Jeff, Our experience here has been many and wonderful. We traveled almost every area on the island, the Forest Reserve Area was a favorite of ours. We also enjoyed the North Shore Tour with Walter and the hike to the falls. This is just a beautiful home and I spend every morning on the deck watching the birds. The geckos and toads were a great source of entertainment for my son, and the tangerines, well, they are the best ! Thank you so much. We left an urchin & a pine cone from the Forest Reserve Area. We had the best time here.

“Dear Gail & Jeff, Just keep doing what you’re doing! The house is a triumph of craftsmanship, the location perfect, and that’s enough right there. But you’ve gone beyond, with the extensive stocking of the kitchen and everywhere else, the neat books too. Right down to the flower petals everywhere and fresh fruit on the table. We also really enjoyed meeting you. Many owners prefer no contact (or live on the mainland). However, you are both such neat people - and your generosity and friendly manner really added. Your website is full of a love of life at this spot that only you could convey. Then again, maybe we should be encouraging you to pull all advertizing - with more and more discovering it, we’ll never be able to come back! Thanks again and all the best,

“Gail, Jeff, Terralani, and Claire Rose, Thankyou for a delightful introduction to your end of Molokai. A little bit of Paradise. The highlights of our trip included horseback riding at a nearby ranch, hiking to the waterfall, and the finale ~ Eddie’s Luau ~ great food, great music, and plenty of local aloha. I’ll always remember the taste of the sea in the Opihi and the lobster.”
