We just stayed at this house last week and it was gorgeous! The solitude is amazing and the evening noises of crickets and frogs is wonderful.
The house is well-appointed and the owner was very accessible and a joy to work with.
We particularly enjoyed walking the short trail to the two ponds on the property, one even has a swim deck/dock. As other commenters have noted, the view from the back deck is gorgeous.
We would definitely stay in this house again. |

We want to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at the Rockin' R Ranch. The views are amazing - you can see for miles. It's just far enough out of town to feel like you're away from it all - yet close enough to many stores for anything you would need. The layout of the house is quite functional, with very nice amenities, and well stocked. The Wi-Fi worked fantastic and was used regularly. I would recommend the Rockin' R Ranch to anyone visiting the Rogue Valley. Thanks for everything! |

| We had a great stay at the Rocking R Ranch - it is a beautiful place and we instantly felt at home when we entered the front door. The living area is open with a great kitchen and a back deck that allowed us to sit and absorb the peace and quiet at the beginning and end of the day. We even had a few exploratory visits from some hummingbirds. It made for a very nice vacation and I would highly recommend it for people looking for a taste of country living with easy access to Crater Lake, Ashland and the rest of southern Oregon. |

| This house was even better than it looks on the website! It was only our first day - and we knew that we would be back. The house is well stocked and more importantly - it is GORGEOUS!! You would be missing out if you DIDN'T go to the Rockin' R Ranch! We had two couples traveling together - and we couldn't have been happier with the views, the room we had, the kitchen - all of it! Owners and property managers and super nice and very helpful! YOU HAVE TO CHECK IT OUT - just don't take my week! HA HA |

| Just wanted you to know that even though we were in Oregon to bury a loved one the Rockin'R was rockin'. I think my brother did a fabulous job finding your place. With all of the amenities we were all able to be together and enjoy our time as a family. Even though I live in the White Mountains in NH it still was wonderful to wake up everyday to the views from your piece of heaven. We lacked for nothing because you have done a superb job equiping the house for vistors. I would do it again in a heatbeat!!!!! |

We enjoyed our stay very much. Your home is very nice. There was more than enough room for the five of us. The views from your living room windows are terrific, but, the views from the deck are even better. You can see for miles around. We enjoyed the solitude. The on-line description of your home was very accurate. There were no surprises as everything was well taken care of. We cooked many meals at home with our family, so your roomy kitchen was nice. The house is well-located for the day trips that we took to Crater Lake National Park, Oregon Caves National Monument, and Ashland, a cultural highlight. We are not "horse people", but, it seems like a great place for those that are. We did, however, enjoy the horse sculpture in the living room. We had a wonderful stay, with no problems. We have stayed in vacation rentals in several states and this was as pleasant as any of them. Thank you for your friendliness throughout the rental process. --Tom from Michigan |

Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your wonderful home. We have rented many properties, Bend, North Carolina, Hood River, West Virginia, etc. but yours was most special to us because of the really special remoteness (even tho it was 15 minutes away from a great supermarket) and solitude. The high point of every day was having dinner on the deck and first watching Mt. McLaughlin turn various shades of pink as the sun set and after that watching as first Venus and Mercury appeared and then the constellations. Then of course all the while was the amazing variety of birds. Only the last evening was too cold and windy to enjoy the deck dinner.
We drove around your area a bit and your property was special in that it had been allowed to return to it's natural habitat of live oaks and madrones...that certainly set it apart and made it feel so special....like a park.
Your instruction sheets were so well done that we never needed to call anyone for anything and the home was super well supplied. We cook 2 meals a day, so the kitchen being so well equipped was a huge plus to us.
