The inlet was perfect for a kyaking trip to the lighthouse. We sampled many local restaurants.Our favorite was StingRays,AJ's and the Shrimp Factory in Savannah. The condo is everything you said it was: the pictures on the website don't do justice to just how cute your place on Tybee is! Thank you to Perry for being such a wonderful landlord-fixing the locks. The girls: I had so much fun and need to return to Tybee one day.We would recommend "Sundial Charter Tours" with Capt. Renee...this was a trip through the salt marshes to remember.We saw many dolphin,manatees and lots of birds.Don't forget to climb the Lighthouse , you will get your workout for the day. We ate at all of the top "10" restaurants listed on trip advisor; our favorites were Crab Shack,MacElwees and Sundae Cafe(Sundae Cafe,must make a reservation.) Carolyn, I love the nautical beach theme running throughout each room and you have thought of everything. Perry...you have made use of every nook in the condo. This is our second year summer in a row here and we're still lovin' the condo and the whole area. We did a few things we never did before and really enjoyed The Mercer Williams House tour in downtown Savannah-Fantastic ! We went to the main beach on Tybee.Great waves and the water temp was ideal. Kathy and I attempted kayaking for the first time.It was fun for awhile seeing the dolphins up close but soon we went out too far along then the current was against us. It took all we could to get back to the kayak rental place.Kinda scary but it was an eye opener on tides and currents.Well, we recovered well from that and had a relaxing time at Tybee & Savannah. Thanks again Perry and Carolyn.

We really enjoyed our few nights in your charming place so close to the sea. The ever present dolphin sightings were entertaining. A dip in the warm ocean and a walk along the stretch of beach was a pleasure. Not sure when we will be back so deep south as we have a long trek back to New York. Great location, so near such an historical city. Our day trip to Savannah was very enjoyable.Iffy weather starting out but the passing thunderstorm did pass and the sun came out to play.Thanks for recommending the Crab Shack

We started out on the 3rd with the birthday of our middle girl.What a birthday surprise this cute little place was.We've had a great stay here at Tybee.Would love to come back again sometime. A.J.'s & Stingrays are among our favorites to eat. Huck-a-poos was my husbands little find!A close up of dolphins swimming ranked high on our list as well. A sighting of John Cougar Mellancamp & the hearing of Miley Cyrus filming on the island made for great conversation.We ended the week at Stingrays seated next to a table of partying good time to be had, soldiers of our military getting ready to head out for their 3rd tour of Iraq.Great respect is due them. It's amazing the people you meetwhen you just relax by the beach for a week! Thanks again for a great stay.

The ocean this week had some surprises.We only saw a few dolphin this time but we did see baby manatee (2) playing near the #3 buoy. Keep an eye near here cause we had manatee sightings 2 mornings in a row.

Thanks so much for the nice goody basket.The oranges were great. And the bottles of water.We came to Tybee this time for our 17th wedding anniversary.We saw a wedding on the south end of the island while here, so fun. We were thrilled to wake up and see a shrimp boat and at least 30 dolphins right off the deck. Went to AJ's for dinner- their sunset didn't even come close to the ones we watched from the deck here!
The condo had everything we needed and more.Love the shutters-decor and great use of space!We hope that next time we can bring our grandchildren-they would love the bunk beds.How sweet.

What an adorable condo you have here! We have loved every minute of our stay here and nothing is lacking in the kitchen or elsewhere. Love the DVD selections...right up our alley.Saw "The Notebook" last night and loved it.
Our walks on the beach and sightseeing tours have been great also. Enjoyed watching the pelicans dive for fish and all the boating activity from the balcony.Saturday was especially fun with sailboats,small craft, jet skies and even a kite flying on the beach. Beautiful weather to boot!Loved eating at "Uncle Bubbas" and the "Crab Shack".A wonderful change of scenery for us Arizonians! Thanks for everything!!

We so enjoyed the dolphins and watching the ships sail by. This was a great- and much needed- vacation. This was the first vacation that I was able to relax and enjoy. Fifteen minutes from a major tourist city and yet so remote from the crowds.
What a gift! A daylight retreat with boats, dolphins, seagulls, pelicans, sandcrabs, hermet crabs, horseshoe crabs, beach & waves. And night times filled with ocean breezes and rushing waves...Outstanding!!! Nice place too...

The first thing I noticed was how clean it was.You guys are awesome.I came here for a much needed vacation, my husband has a brain injury and I am his caregiver, so, I thoroughly enjoyed our time. We loved watching the pelicans diving into the water and seeing the dolphins.The view is awesome too.We were also able to go to the Sand Arts Festival which was very cool. What a top notch condo ! Thank-you for the attention to detail that made us feel very welcome and relaxed. One of the first surprises we enjoyed was the goody basket and welcome card. What a great idea ! Everything we needed was at our hands ( toaster, pots, cooking utensils, beach chairs, beach towels, etc...)
The view of the ocean, the sound of the waves, and the access to the beach also made this a memorable visit to Tybee.
