Marge and I would both like to thank the Berlins for being such great hosts.
Their personal attention made our first visit to NYC most enjoyable. The
apartment was everything that was listed and more. The location couldn’t
have been better and the view of the Hudson was terrific. We were able to
walk or take public transportation on all of our outings with ease. I highly
recommend this apartment for your next visit to New York, you won’t be
disappointed.

| We stayed in this property over Valentine's weekend this year. Louis and Dianne had told us that the apartment was fully stocked, but we had NO IDEA the degree of truth to that statement. It was truly amenitied like a home, and a very upscale home at that. Everything was tastefully designed, utilizing the best urban housekeeping secrets for order and relaxation in a condo. We loved that the building is a "green" building! The Berlins are great hosts, they made us feel so welcome and well taken care of. We would definately like to stay again and are considering it as a potential honeymoon spot. The location is great for Broadway, or for ice skating in Central Park! Try not to pack your trip too full of evenings out, you'll have to cancel your plans so that you can stay in and enjoy the view! Thanks Louis and Dianne! |

| We cannot recommend this apartment highly enough. Excellent location 10 minute walk to Columbus Circle with its wonderful Whoolefoods Supermarket, 20 minute walk to Times Square and a $5 to $6 cab ride back after the theatre (as from the Lincoln Centre too), wonderful views especially the sunsets which were superb. There is a subway station at Columbus Circle and a cross city bus stop nearby. We really enjoyed staying in an apartment which is so lovingly furnished and cared for we espeecially enjoyed the personal touches. Dianne and Louis were especially helpful and we were pleased we were able to follow some of Louis' restaurant recommendations which were 'spot on'. This will be our first choice when we next visit New York. |

This apartment was everything the site suggested
and more. If this is one of your choices for
accommodation...book it!! Other comments have
said that Diane & Louis have thought of everything
and they really have. Diane was also very helpful in
answering all my questions before we even arrived.
My first trip to New York was fantastic and the
apartment perfect! Thank you so much..for me it
really was a trip of a lifetime. |

| Fantastic ! My wife and I, along with the other couple we stayed with, loved the Berlins' place. From the wonderful view and the sheer convenience of location, to the coffee fixings for the morning, I have never been more comfortable on vacation. As stated by many others, the Berlins have thought of everything. I can't think of another place to stay on our next trip to NY. We have been coming to the first week of the US Open for a few years now and have stayed all over the city. This was, by far, the most enjoyable and relaxing. If you are thinking of staying at a hotel or somewhere else, stop, and try this place. I assure you that you will be glad that you did. |

Kudos to Dianne & Louis Berlin for providing an
absolutely amazing apartment for rent in
Manhatten! My friend and I just returned from a
one week stay and could not have been more
pleased with the entire experience from beginning
to end. I really appreciated being able to check in
at 8:30 AM, after taking a red-eye flight, and
finding this gem of a haven that had absolutely
everything I could have wanted readily available.
The Berlin's have thought of everything that one
might need or want including a handy box of
menu's for near-by delivery restaurants if you just
can't tear yourself away from the gorgeous views.
With a Whole Foods walking distance away we even
cooked in one night! We have been coming to NY
for a week in the fall for 20+ years and have
decided that next year we want to make it 2 weeks
if we are able to spend it here. Everything about
this place is perfect--from check-in to check out
with great location and wonderful hosts. Thanks
for making this vacation the most comfortable
week we've spent in NYC! |

son and I just returned from a week in the Berlin's
wonderful NYC apartment. The apartment was
perfect for us...the views, the furnishings, beds,
kitchen, televisions, and location- everything. Very
welcoming and friendly building, with great market
in the lobby and laundry right across the hall.
Simply could not have been a better experience.
Also, being able to consult with the Berlins about
shows and restaurants was a real treat. Such nice
people! I would give this rental the highest
recommendation. The perfect place to call home for
a week in the city. |

We had a wonderful 7 nights at the apartment of Louis and Dianne and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative to high-end hotel accommodation. Our family, two adults and two teenage daughters thoroughly enjoyed the standard of the apartment, the location (close to Columbus Circle and restaurants)and the views. Our daughters were even more excited that only 2 blocks away they got to meet the stars of "Gossip Girl" the TV show that was filming nearby. Kudos to the Berlins who contacted us once we arrived to make sure everything was OK and to make suggestions re restaurants etc.
If you want a great location and alternative to a hotel then this is the place! |

Wir haben 1 Woche mit unseren Söhnen (13 +19)in dieser Wohnung gelebt und uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt. Angefangen von den freundlichen Doormen, dem super ausgestatteten Fitnessstudio (unser Sohn hat 30$ für eine Woche Training gezahlt)bis zu der umwerfenden Aussicht war alles perfekt.
In der Wohnung war alles was man braucht im Überfluß vorhanden (Selbst der Kühlschrank war gefüllt)Es gibt zwei große Fernseher- was unsere Jungens toll fanden- viel Platz und der Blick aus den Fenstern ist genial.
Zufuß oder mit dem Shuttle-bus ist man in ein paar Minuten am Columbus Circle und zum Lincoln Center läuft man höchstens 10 Minuten.
Die Vermieter haben sich mehrmals telefonisch erkundigt ob alles Ok ist - man fühlt sich als ob man zu Gast bei Freunden ist. |

| We had the time of our lives in New York. We were two couples sharing the apartment. We were able to take in everything that NY had to offer and at the end of the day were pleased that we had a safe and classy abode to come home to. I looked at other places and when in NY found out that they were a hoax. The apartment had everything we could hope for and the use of the terrace on the roof was exceptional. We'll be coming back someday. |

We've been to New York so many times, and we've
stayed at so many different luxury and high-end
hotels - but NOTHING compares with the "Total
Package" of this apartment! The location is perfect
(makes you feel like a real native, and SUPER
convenient to walk just about anywhere!), the
apartment is really beautifully appointed, and
Dianne and Louis have thought of EVERYTHING you
could need to feel at home in their wonderful place.
From the well-stocked store in the lobby, to the
roofdeck, to the incredible fitness center (it even
has a Pilates reformer!), we enjoyed every second
we spent here. Thank you SO much for everything -
- we can't wait to come back! |

After searching weeks for just the right hotel, my daughter found this apartment on VRBO! Way to go Sis!
We just spent 6 days in New York and could not have been happier with our accommodations. Location, location, location, this is the place to stay!
It is clean, well organized and has the most awesome views of the city! The owners were delightful and checked with us numerous times both prior to and during our vacation in NY to make sure that all was well with our trip. They even offered feedback on our restaurant choices! We will DEFINITELY choose this apartment again for our 2008 New York trip. Thanks so much for being such delightful hosts!

| We just returned from 6 fabulous days in NYC. I can't say enough good things about this apt. It's everything as advertised and so much more. It seems much larger than 750 sq. ft. or so. The location is perfect - great access to theatre, bus, subway, etc. The apt. is very clean, organized, well-stocked, and quiet. The views are spectacular. The owners checked twice to see if all was OK (and it definitely was!). Both the kitchen and bath are well stocked with anything you could possibly need. We would definitely stay here again anytime. This is a great find in NYC! I could easily live here! Thanks for a great time! |

We had a fabulous time in New York and your
apartment was PERFECT! The location was exactly
what we wanted; accessible but not in the heart of
the city. The view was incredible - I have included
a few photos for you. My husband was amazed at the
unobstructed view - there are not many of them left.
My children will never forget their wonderful
time! I am not sure what will stick out in their
heads the most; Thanks for having the
beds made upon our arrival. We arrived at 1:45 am
and having an immediate place to sleep was sheer
heaven. The comfortable beds and premium linens
gave us well-needed rest. Your stocked kitchen with
all the gourmet kitchen equipment provided us with
the ability to choose between eating out or making a
delicious meal at home. All the included toiletries
eliminated an unwanted grocery run (I forgot my
toothbrush).
We will definately contact you should we ever need a
rental apartment in the city. Thanks for sharing
your very special place in NYC!

We recently stayed at the NY apartment (7/25-30).
My wife and I have been to New York many times.
We usually stay in upscale/luxury hotels. This time
my wife suggested we rent this apertment for the
week.
After experiencing the apartment for a week, I can
only say WOW! Diane and Louis are tremendous
hosts, who have thought of everything. The location
is great. The views are great. The amenities are
great. The reviews are right on. If your thinking
about renting this place, stop thinking and rent it!

We stayed in the lovely condo for a week. The Berlin's have provided everything you would possible need. We were surprised to find quite a selection of food as well. They also called several times to make sure everything was okay--which it was. It was fun to watch the cruise ships dock and see the yellow cabs line up in two rows for the disembarking passengers. This condo shows a lot of love on the part of the owners. Thanks for the great stay!

My wife & I come every year to NYC for the theater. We saw 10 shows in 8 days April 21-29th.
The apartment is beautiful and convenient for theater-goers. We walked to Lincoln Center and the theater district. The apartment owners are the most gracious couple. They called us several times during our stay to offer suggestions on what to do and to check on our accomodations. We come to NYC 2xs per year and will continue to use this wonderful apartment. We loved it! |

| This apartment is every non-New Yorker's dream of what living in Manhattan is all about! The space is amazing---from the huge windows in the living room and bedroom to the well-equipped bathroom and kitchen---and is lovingly decorated. We really felt like we were at home during our visit from April 14-21 (yes, we were there for the Nor'ester of 2007!). Louis and Dianne are extremely generous hosts and have thought of everything to make your visit memorable---right down to having cruise ships dock on the weekend. It is an easy stroll from Lincoln Center for folks like us who are opera buffs. We found a couple of good restaurants nearby---the Greek Kitchen (58th and 10th or it may be 9th), Strada 57 (just up 57th in the 300 block) and Thalia (50th and 8th). The doormen are so helpful and friendly that after a couple of days we felt like we were regular tenants! Unfortunately, it was not so and we had to depart just when the weather turned warm and sunny. A return visit is definitely in the cards! |

I would not say I'm a princess, however, I do like the finer things in life. So when I signed up to do a marathon in Central Park I thought dear Hubby would spring to stay at a fancy hotel. (Our friends were staying at the Ritz Carlton), but nooooo, Dear Hubby decided that money could better be spent on dining and to find a place more reasonable to lay our weary heads. Boy am I glad he set up the challenge. We SCORED!! This place has an incredible view that the photos just do not do justice. (and being from Laguna, we're big on views)I slept every night with the shades up to enjoy the city lights. And what fun it was to tell our friends at the Ritz (with no view) we were enjoying a glass of wine looking over the Hudson all the way to the Statue of Liberty. The location was better than I expected. Columbus Circle (Central Park)was an easy walk or shuttle, (there's the best Whole Foods Market there) It was extremely easy getting taxis. (big surprise in NYC) Our friends at the fancy hotel would wait much longer than we had to! The night before the race, instead of the carbo loading party at the Tavern on the Green, said friends came over for our own pasta party and I gotta say, they were quite impressed. (They hate to admit when we outdo them, we're competitors after all!) Actually they were thrilled and have said the best night in NYC was that night. Good friends, good food, wine (just a little) and the ambiance of the apartment, it was a memorable night. A couple of other points before I forget, 1. The bed was extremely comfortable, dear hubby and I are picky about our mattresses and this one we both slept very well on and plenty of pillows! (another big plus, hotels are a bit stingy with them.)
2. The gym, dear Hubby has been in gyms the world over and he won't stop talking about the quality of equipment here. (He and said friends are Ironman competitors and God forbid we miss a workout!) The one caveat is they keep it a bit warm for hard workouts.
Will we return? You bet, but maybe next year I'll only do the 1/2 marathon and still get all the pampering without the post race soreness! |

What a fabulous apartment. It measured up to all of our expectations. The view was spectacular from our window as well as the rooftop. The apartment is within walking distance of the subways, Central Park and Rockefeller Center. We have raved about our experience to all of our friends. We can't wait to come back.

We stayed four days in November. The location is ideal to approach NYC if you're planning on seeing the city - West 57th street is a nice cross-street to walk up, placing you at the Southern tip of Central Park, where you can head in any direction.
The apartment was very new, clean, and although not large, had everything we needed. We cooked two meals in the kitchen which is well stocked with pans, etc. There is a small store downstairs in the lobby which sells all basic day-to-day needs - a HUGE plus especially if it's cold outside!
We would deinitely stay with our new "friends" if visiting NYC in the future. Highly recommended. |

| This apartment is great! The space is perfect for two people. There is fantastic view of the Hudson and Manhattan skyline. It was very quite while we were there for our 10 day visit. Everything you could need was available to you including laundry service and a convenience store in the lobby. We particularly enjoyed the roof top garden and observation deck. We actually met some of the neighbors while hanging out on the deck. Everyone in the building seemed nice including the doormen. The apartment and building were very safe and extremely clean. The owners were very responsive. Thanks for helping to make our visit one to remember. We will try and come again! |

This is a fabulous apartment! I stayed here for a week in October 2006. Found the apartment to be exactly like the pictures. Very clean, safe, had all the comforts of home, great location, easy access to all NYC has to offer. Much better than staying at a hotel! And very affordable too.
Would definitely stay here again! Would definitely recommend to a friend!

Beautiful apartment! Perfect size for a week long vacation- it was so much more convenient and comfortable than staying in a hotel. The view is fantastic, and the conditions of the apartment building are fantastic and very safe. The location is great, near key locations in the city, but also in a relatively quiet area.
Overall, for any extended stay in New York, this apartment is worth it! |
