| Rick and Lisa, Your cabin was absolutely fabulous! The views from the front porch were so breathtaking that we didn’t want to come inside! But when we did come inside we were wrapped in your warm, cozy, clean surroundings. Everything and I mean everything was supplied…from a gracious welcome note (with goodies) to meticulously labeled light switches, etc. The directions that were sent before we ever arrived were detailed enough that we really didn’t have any questions regarding how things worked. The location is super convenient to Maggie Valley and surrounding areas. We were in town for a Clogging Competition where my 11 year old niece was inducted into the Junior All American Clogging Team. Altitude Adjustment was just the place our family needed to celebrate. We hope to come back again real soon. Thanks for sharing your little piece of heaven with us. |

We want to thank you so much for making your mountain retreat available to us. Your home here was truly a home away from home for us. The decor was soothing and you have thought of just about everything necessary for real comfort and convenience.
We really enjoyed the central location, it really made it easy to make day excursions in just about every direction. We enjoyed hiking, rafting, Dollywood, Sliding Rock, Looking Glass Falls, Cherokee and Biltmore House.
Our son also enjoyed the movies and Playstation. Chris and I enjoyed running and cycling up and down Frank Mehaffey/ Black Camp Gap Rd. First time our son and I saw "fireflies"!!

We saw ELK! Yeah--the ride was worth it. We enjoyed Waynesville--we got several Christmas gifts. Joey's--what can I say? Pancakes and Country ham--yum! We drove up to the top of your mountain and walked around the ranch grounds--fantastic views.

Though we have vacationed many times in Maggie Valley, this was our first vacation with our new little Heidi. We wondered how taking a 4 1/2 month old would go, but your home was just perfect and we all had a wonderful time here. While here, we got to see wild turkeys, rabbits, chipmunks and even a coyote on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Even more special was the rabbit we saw at the cabin! Such a beautiful place and we are so glad we found your lovely home.

We had another great visit - thanks! We didn't end up staying any later because of the 8 hr. drive home, but thank you so much for extending us the courtesy of the early check-in as well - we were able to squeeze a little more into a short trip and it made it so much more enjoyable. Horseback riding, whitewater rafting, and a visit to Gatlinburg for ice skating and the aquarium in three days - not bad! The kids and I were talking about that trip just yesterday. They were commenting on how that was one of their very favorite spots on our trip. That says a lot because we were gone two weeks and stopped in Williamsburg, Gettysburg, New York, Rhode Island, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia. The only other place we stopped that earned such top ratings from them was Cooperstown, NY, where the National Baseball Hall of Fame is located. Can you tell we have a teenage boy?

Asheville to Gatlinburg. We had great weather and even got some rain on
the way to Tennessee through the national park and got pictures that
really captured the mountains smoking- it was perfect.

4th of July and after that also. FYI, it might be worth telling your
guests that the Walker Service Station, 2 blocks off Main Street, has
an art gallery that is very good. They're down the street from the
Municipal Building's Public Parking Garage.

We just returned from our second visit to this charming home-away-from home in the mountains. The setting provides a perfect way to enjoy family and local attractions while absorbing the serenity of the mountains. We
especially enjoyed sitting in the
rocking chairs on the porch and the comfort of the master bedroom. One of the real advantages is the
downstairs playroom. The kids played and those upstairs were shielded from the activity.
We made our first trip to Ghost Town and it was a fun adventure with

We really can't thank you enough for letting us rent your cabin! After the long trip out there, it was amazing to walk in and feel right at home immediately. We put the boys down to play and you could just tell how much they loved feeling at home too!! What a wonderful place!! We look forward to staying there again and have family that are looking into renting some of the cabins nearby when we do. I also wanted to make sure that you could let your wonderful housekeeper know that I finally located my earring while really cleaning out the van. It was in the crack of the floor right next to the side door and must have come out while loading the boys in the day we were leaving. I really appreciate her looking for it and for calling me back to let me know she would continue to do so. She is such a nice lady!! We have been coming to Cataloochee Ski Resort for 6 years and this is our favorite cabin. With all of the "bear" essentials handled and the comfortable decor, we had a wonderful time and plan to come back. Despite the unseasonable 60+ degree weather, the kids had fun 'boarding and we enjoyed the sunrise and coffee on the front porch.

Thanks for introducing us to your "Altitude Adjustment" cabin. We loved the accommodations. This place is well decorated and very "warm" and cozy. The location is unbeatable and the scenery is majestic. The cabin contained almost everything we needed while on our trip. We'll recommend it to our friends, family and military associates.
The Smoky Mountains, Cherokee Reservation and Biltmore Estates were awesome. Happy New Year!!!
