HI DENNIS. I WANT TO THANK YOU, FOR ALL YOUR HELP, WHILE WE WERE IN PINEHURST CABIN. IT WAS AMAZING, DENNIS, THE SNOW, THE TREES,AND I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEE DEERS. REALLY, REALLY, BEAUTIFUL.I REST LIKE NEVER BEFORE.THE CABIN,WAS WARM,AND CONFORTABLE.I STARTED A NICE NEW YEAR.
ALL OF US,DID NOT WANT TO GO BACK TO L.A. BUT WE HAD TO. WE HOPE TO SEE YOU AGAIN, MAYBE IN SPRING OR SUMMER. WE ARE GOING TO PLAN ANOTHER VACATIONS.

Dennis, We really enjoyed our stay in your cabin. We
had had a very busy time in Aptos with our son's
wedding, and your cabin was the perfect place to
relax. The National Parks were stunning in their
beauty and so accessible. We appreciated the clean,
picturesque and well stocked "mountain home" to
come back to after a long days hiking &
sightseeing. We wish to return someday. Thanks so

| Hi Dennis! WE loved staying in your cabin ... the entire area is just so beautiful - we were constantly amazed at all that we saw! Your Cabin was perfect for us ... very clean, roomy and so comfortable! Its very quiet there - we really appreciated that after trekking all through the parks everyday day ... In April this year we stayed in the
cabin during our tour of the Sequoia
and Kings Canyon national parks. We
booked for two nights but wished it
could have been longer. Dennis had
waited very patiently for us to arrive
as we got lost in Fresno so were rather
late. He was more than willing to
share his knowledge of the area and
answer our numerous questions.
The facilities in the cabin were
excellent and the log fire made it feel
very cosy and warm. Within a couple of
hours of arriving we were panning for
gold in the stream that runs alongside!
We have no hesitation in reccommending
it to anybody and would love to make a
return visit one day. Thank you

| This is a wonderful cabin. We stayed at this cabin in mid-December 2003. Everything is neat and clean. Dennis and his wife were very welcoming and showed us the whole cabin. Although we were disappointed that there was no snow while we were there, the wonderful and peaceful atmosphere and small town really was a world away from the city life. Dennis and Jackie, thank you so much for making this an unforgettable event and opening your wonderful cabin to the public. We'll be sure to return for more memory-making at this wonderful cabin. We stayed in this cabin in Apr 7-10 Apr 2004.Before we arrieved
the cabin we e-mail a lot of question to Dennis about the activities info
around the cabin. Dennis always reply back to me next day and with a lot of
information. This is a very nice cabin, clean, quiet, and very comfortable.
This cabin got all the kitchen need, so we don't have to bring too much thing
for travel. They also got one very nice firplace to keep us warm.:)Dennis tour
us around the cabin and make sure we have no question before he leave. Marcus
parents are from Singapore and they were with us in this vacation. They tell us
every time they looked the picture took from cabin always remind them they do
have good time on the vacation trip in U.S. I will strongly recommend people
who want to go to Sequoia national park can stay in this cabin and you would
not disappointed.

We stayed at the cabin in May 2004. The owners (Dennis and Jackie) picked us up about 20 minutes out and lead us up to the cabin. They showed us the whole cabin and made sure that we all felt at home at this very nice and clean place.
Dennis and Jackie: Thank you so much for your kindness and the nice talks we had during our stay. We really enjoyed the cabin very much and will recommend it to anyone who's planning to visit the parks in the area.

This is a wonderful, spacious cabin nestled among the pines at around 4200 feet. Only 3-4 hours drive from Los Angeles, Pinehurst is a quaint mountain community worlds away from "the big city". You won't find shopping malls or fancy restaurants, but peace and quiet and tranquil beauty abound. Read a book by the wood stove, prepare a meal in the well-equipped kitchen or explore the amazing Kings Canyon/Sequoia National Park (a short drive from the cabin).
Dennis and Jackie are excellent hosts, very responsive to calls and emails. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway, this cabin rates an A+! |

My wife and I found this unique cabin to have a number of positive attributes that we appreciate:
-Direct owner involvement. Dennis even met us and showed us to the cabin and made sure everything was in order before leaving!
-Quiet! The peacefulness was extraordinary!
-Clean! My wife is fussy!
-Convenient! We greatly enjoyed the beautiful drive to and from the parks.
-The drive to Cedar Grove in Kings Canyon is World Class! So is the hiking!
-Fairly priced!

| Sequoia/Kings Canyon is spectacular - on par with the best of our National Parks. If you haven't been: go! Dennis' cabin is the perfect way to experience the parks. Only five hours from the Bay Area, but a world away. Its great to spend all day hiking the Sierra and then return to the comforts of home. Actually, we had a hard time convincing our children that the cabin isn't better than home. My 8 year old son made Dennis a purchase offer, but fortunately for future guests, it fell just a bit short. Enjoy your stay; we sure did!! |

| We stayed at this lovely cabin during Christmas 2001. We had a really wonderful time! We enjoyed hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing in the nearby Kings Canyon National Park. After our day trips we were looking forward to the cosy fireplace in the cabin. The cabin is well equipped, everything is clean and Dennis and his family were very kind and helpful. We are looking forward to another vacation in this cabin!!! |

This is the next best thing to heaven. The surroundings are beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. Located minutes from the national park yet the cabin is so comfortable its like home. Dennis has thought of everything for his guests. The day we left, my family was already discussing when we should come back. We most definitely will return!
