How lucky we were to be able to stay at this great home for a last minute trip to the South Shore. Tom was such a pleasure to deal with in arranging our stay. The home is spotless and beautifully maintained. We enjoyed walking to the beach and appreciated all the materials left in the home about the local amenities. (Breakfast at Arthur & Pats was amazing!) Thanks Tom!

We would happily recommend this home to anyone who would like to stay on the South Shore of Boston for any length of time. It was comfortable, well appointed with all one could hope for and a short, but pleasant walk to Green Harbor beach, as well as nearby to Burke's Beach and Duxbury Beach. We enjoyed the solitude of early morning walks along the water. The house also has a lovely garden with beautiful plantings which make a small back yard seem larger and affords blessed privacy. The owners Tom and Donna Lee would, I'm sure, be available for any requests and concerns, as they were most solicitous in trying to make our stay a happy and complete one. I think staying in this house was convenient to moving in all directions whether to Boston or the Cape and we considered it a true comfortable bargain. Stay here with no worries! Thank you again Tom and Donna Lee.

My family and I recently spent the weekend in this beautiful cottage style house. We found it a lovely experience. the decor is warm and tasteful. We enjoyed a nice evening sitting by the fire in the great room and listening to relaxing music on the stereo. This house is everything a vacationer would want. I can't wait to come back in the summer and experience the beautiful outside with its Japanese garden and picnic area. Looking forward to our trip back up in July.

Homeowner Response:
Ginny's daughter, husband and two grandchildren live across the street. We were very pleased to be able to have the Grandmother, another daughter, son and another granddaughter stay in our South Shore home for the First Communion week end.

My brother, sister and I went to the Marshfield & Duxbury area for genealogy research and stayed in this delightful cape house belonging to Donna Lee and Tom. The house is charming and very convenient. Their attractive pictures do not do it justice. I cannot imagine a time of year that would not be perfect in this house. Tom and Donna Lee made us feel very welcome and anticipated our every need. I cannot wait to take my husband for a nice romantic holiday. This secret hideaway deserves a two thumbs way up! |

Spent a wonderful week at this cozy, clean and comfortable rental in mid September, sharing this home with another couple. Great location and easily accessible to Boston area and South Shore sites of interest.

The house is even more well appointed than the photos reveal and we were more than comfortable and especially liked the the many different styles of lighting, nearly all had a dimmer switch. We also enjoyed the proximity to family and friends in nearby Green Harbor where our kids took part in the annual Labor Day races and parade. The house was also suitable for young children, who used their creative talents to design an evening flashlight tour of the many interesting Japanese artifacts to which they assigned names and stories (Hun Tiki Tiki once lived there and the garden gods blessed him with many statues and a bridge to the spirit world). They had fun and, in truth, the backyard garden is quite magical. We will defintely book another stay in 2008. Thanks Tom!

Tom-What a beautiful retreat your place was. I could rise early in the morning before the others and sit on the deck out front or in japanese garden sipping coffee. The place was set up with everything I needed to entertain fully and feel like at home. The ambiance (candles, flowers, music, etc) of the place was fabulous and immaculate-my kind of setting. We WILL be back soon!

Wow, what a fantastic week! We want to thank you for providing such a beautiful home for our family vacation. It was beyond our expectations. Charming House; Great Location. Our stay was so peaceful and stress free. We took full advantage of walks on the beach and morning coffee on the patio. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. We are looking forward to returning next year. Thanks again for such a wonderful and relaxing time.
