| Marilyn's house is perfect for "getting away from it all", long walks on the long beach, and trips up to Bodega Bay and down to Marin County. I've stayed at Windsong on a quilt retreat with three friends, and also with my family and friends, including a baby, two-year-old and six-year-old (8 total). The configuration of rooms and vanities within each room worked wonderfully for the families-- two kids in the bunkbeds, the little one on the trundle and the baby in a playpen. The bedrooms are separated from the living/dining area enough to allow quiet early bedtimes and latenight card games. For such a small "footprint", the house has a lot of room for people and things, and is very quiet. Marilyn has stocked the kitchen with pots and pans enough to satisfy our two chefs (we used every one)and the children were entranced by the magical multi-level garden. We were very pleased with the accommodations and will definitely come back! |
