It was our first visit to Fort Myers Beach and this lovely condo but it certainly will not be our last. We arrived the day after Thanksgiving, 2007 and quickly settled in to our comfortable vacation home. The location proved to be the best. . . we were close to the beach, shopping and terrific restaurants yet away from noisy crowds and traffic.
We enjoyed long walks on the white sand beach each morning and were excited to find so many sand dollars. We were also treated to dolphins swimming in the marina while enjoying our coffee and the beautiful view from the screened lanai. The lanai was also the setting for several lazy nights playing cards and relaxing in the warmth of Southwest Florida in November.
This spacious condo is beautifully decorated and furnished. No detail has been overlooked. . . right down to the beach chairs and pool toys.
We much enjoyed our first vacation to your condo, Fort Myers and the sun. We look forward to returning . . . soon. |

My family had the pleasure of staying at the Palm Harbor #601 during the second week of October 2007. Having visited Fort Myers Beach on a couple of other occasions, we had a good idea as to the location of the condo. We knew that it was close to the beach area in front of the Holiday Inn which, in our opinion, is the best section of the beach in Fort Myers. The beach close to the condo is approx. 10 minutes from the 'main Fort Myers Beach' which, for a family, is a good thing! The main section of the beach has probably seen better days.. The hotels are packed with visitors looking to party and have a good time. The section of the beach near the condo is very large and very quite - perfect for families. My daughter loved playing in the pure white sand and enjoyed shell hunting in the morning. The beach is 2-3 minute walk from the condo.
When we arrived at the condo we were blown away by it's size and layout. It is much larger than it appears in the pictures on the site.. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom to the left of the main hallway as you enter. At the end of the hallway is the living room, kitchen, and dining area. The screened in patio overlooks the picturesque view of the marina. To the right of the patio is the master bedroom which is huge. There is an en suite bathroom with tub and two stand up showers in the master bedroom. The condo itself is beautiful. We brought my parents along with us - the layout was perfect (although next time we want the master bedroom!!). The pool area was really nice also. The pool and hot tub are in the sun all day so it's perfect - water temp was 88-90 every day. Because of the time of the year, we pretty much had the pool to ourselves - which my 3 year old loved!!
The condo is a 2 minute walk to a large plaza with gift stores, restaurants, bank etc. The Italian take-away is excellent although a little pricey. The Fish House, which is the restaurant that over looks the marina is disappointing - nice patio for a beer but the food wasn't very good.
We had a terrific time and would rent the condo again in a heartbeat.. Would highly recommend!!!
