We really enjoyed the new pool table and of course, the hot tub. We rode to Deals Gap and the Tail of the Dragon, the Cherohala Skyway, Hellbender 28 and the Foothills parkway. When ont on our bikes, we "Duckied the Nanny" All in all, it was a teriffic time!

We found the cabin so comfortable to see and it had everything we could need. While here we were able to se and do so many things. We visited Joyce Kilmer National Forest, Fontana Dam, and Fontana Village. Went to Cherokee and saw the Oconaluftte Indian Village and then to Clingman's Dome (What a climb, but what a view!) and found Rufus Morgan Waterfall. As you can see, we squeezed a lot of things into our time here.
Most of all we enjoyed spending some quiet time on the porch enjoying our family and friends. Our time here has reinforced our belief that God created a beautiful Earth for us to enjoy. I took so many pictures and I look forward to sharing them when we get home. We drove a little on the Tail of the Dragon ... Wow!

Hiked to the waterfalls near Deep Creek and watched the tubers on the creek. We thought the creek might be too low. We did have a blast horseback riding with the family. We truly enjoyed our stay at Fox Hill Cabin. The leaves were still very colorful when we arrived, so we had a spectacular view around us. The weather was perfect, so we were able to hike the Cheoah Nat'l Forest. We also enjoyed the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad ride in Bryson City and a day trip to Ashville. If you get to Ashville, be sure check out the Mellow Mushroom Pizza place, best pizza ever plus atmosphere. Thank you for sharing.

We stayed at Fox Hill cabin from Aug 5 - Aug 10, 2007. The cabin was very spacious, perfect for two families of 4. It was very clean. We enjoyed sitting in a "cool" hot tub (because the weather was so hot - 90's) in the early mornings and evenings watching the stars and lightening bugs. The boys loved the game table. We enjoyed quiet evenings grilling out on the deck after a day of fun, and sometimes just relaxing with a movie in the air conditioning. We enjoyed alot in the area: Horseback riding, rafting, train ride, fishing,shopping, etc. The location was great. It was nice to be out in the country away from the busy tourist towns. Great grocery store nearby too. Thanks for having us. We'll definitely return and recommend you to our friends and families.

| We stayed at Fox Hill Cabin for a week with some of our friends for the 11th Annual Miatas at the Gap in July 2007. The cabin is beautiful - plenty of space for everyone. The location is great - close to town - but not too close and paved roads to keep the cars clean. Enjoying morning coffee on the front porch - watching the fog lift was a wonderful way to start each day. We drove many miles on great roads - the Dragon, the Cherohala loop, the Foothills Parkway, Wayah Road - it doesn't seem to matter WHERE you go - the roads are fun!! It was always nice to know that after a hard day of driving we had such a relaxing place to "come home to". We will gladly tell any friends travelling to the area about Fox Hill Cabin and hope to return ourselves. Thanks for sharing your home!! |

We had a very relaxing & enjoyable stay. The area is lovely. Spent a wonderful day at Santeetlah Lake on a Pontoon boat, drove the Cherohala Skyway, drove thur Smokey National Park, hiked thur Joyce Kilmer Forest, relaxed in the hot tub & feed the birds. Hopefully we will return someday.

I stayed here with my wife and 4 other friends for 3 nights in April 2007. The reason for the trip was to do a little motorcycle riding in the Smokies. The accomodations at Fox Hill were first rate and extremely peaceful and relaxing after a day of taming the Dragon. The best was early morning sunrise coffee on the deck while rockin' the cares away.
I would highly recommend this place for anyone espcially motorcyclists looking for a convenient place near some great ridin' roads. |

WHAT A GREAT PLACE TO REST AND RELAX. OUR TRIP WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY. JUST RELAXING IN THE HOT TUB OR REALXING IN THE HAMMOCK BY THE STREAM,WE LOOK FORWARD TO OUR NEXT VISIT.
DON'T FORGET THE WHITEWATER RAFTING ON THE NANTAHALA RIVER OR BOATING ON LAKE SANTEELAH WHICH ARE MINUTES AWAY.

We enjoyed our stay at Fox Hill Cabin. Thank you for all of the extras including the hot tub. We were able to reunite our family and have many memories. We loved swimming at Cheoh Point, rafting at NOC and pontooning on Lake Santeetlah. Thanks again.

Thank you so much for letting me be your first guest at Fox Hill Cabin over the 4th of July. The accommodations are lovely and it was great to get back to the mountains and away from the Florida heat. I especially enjoyed the evenings in the new hot tub and watching the fireflys. I will certainly be back to Fox Hill Cabin.

We really enjoyed the cabin. This is very nice with a beautiful scenery. We enjoyed the hot tub and the hammock. The creek was a nice touch with the soothing sound. Thank you for the nice place. we would recommend it to people.
