| Thank you, Jan, for the use of your lovely condo, Papakae #202. The location is breathtaking - several days I never left the lanai - just soaked in the beautiful water, whales and Molokai. The condo is fully stocked and the washer/dryer are really a plus. It is a very comfortable unit at an outstanding value. Not for a wild and crazy party group, but if you're looking for a peaceful, beautiful getaway, this is the place. |

| This was our first visit to Papakea and we had such a wonderful experience we are already planning our next trip. The view from the lanai is unbeatable - we had a beautiful sunset every night and the sound of the ocean could be heard throughout the condo. Thank you Jan for your tips and suggestions. We loved staying in Jan's condo on Maui. The view from the second story balcony was priceless and would highly recommend the second story location overlooking the breaking waves and view. It also offers a bit more privacy then having to stay on the ground floor and having persons walking by your unit. The condo was clean and had everythign we needed included ice chests, beach toys and linen. The wahser /dryer came in very handy. The entire complex was immaculate and we loved the fact that we were able to Bar-B-que every night on a clean
unit and save money by eating in. Everything needed in in the condo and in great shape. We plan on returning to this unit in the future and will be recommending it to our friends. |

This was our second stay in A-202. The view and location can not be beat. Being in the "A" building, you are away from the majority of people so it feels more secluded. The view is amazing and being on the second floor gives a far better experience of sunsets and whale watching, plus, you do not have people walking past your door as you do on the lower level units. Jan had made some changes since the last stay including a new stove and washer/dryer. The unit was clean upon arrival and plenty of towels/linens were on hand. Jan's communciation was excellent and organized. She even checked in with us mid-stay to see if we needed anything. Overall, renting this unit was a painless process. I would recommend A-202.

| When we arrived to Papakea 202a it was late at night. We walked into the room, and the sights ands sounds of the ocean took my breath away. The views from our balcony were beautiful. This place was even better than we imagined it to be. The amenities provided were perfect, including the dishwasher, washer and dryer, full kitchen etc. It was one of the best vacations my husband and I have ever taken and was the perfect choice for our 30th wedding anniversary celebration. We spent 12 days there and had the time of our lives!!! Jan's suggestions were very helpful and it was nice to know she was only a phone call away, if needed. Thank you Jan, for a place that we will always remember, and hope to return to soon. |

This is our third stay in A-202. The first we got engaged on the Lanai at Sunset. The second we came back for our Honeymoon, and the third was five years to the day of our engagement. This time we brought our 19 month old Son Aidan. It was quite special and the three of us had a wonderful time. You cannot get a better view from your room in Maui,it is perfect to wind down in the evening. I recommend Jan's Hospitality and the wonderful Papakea.

| Jan, We had a great week in your condo. We've stayed at Papakea and know it is a great place and were very pleased to find out your place was just as described in your ad. We go to Hawaii to relax and kick back on the beaches and enjoy the ocean. Your condo is perfect for us. To be able to leave the beaches and come back and still enjoy the sounds and sites of the ocean on your lanai is fantastic. If anyone wonders how close this place is to the ocean I was able to lightly toss an ice cube and hit the ocean. I was also really impressed with your call to us a few days in to our stay making sure everything was OK. Your emails and overall communication about our stay was above and beyond the call of duty. | This was the second time we have stayed in A202. This year we enjoyed not having to turn on the A/C as the weather was perfect and we could enjoy the ocean air. We celebrated our anniversary so we used the beautiful champagne flutes for our champagne breakfast on the lanai. Jan is the best of owners. She lives on the island and is so accomodating. The condo has everything at your fingertips. We enjoyed our ocean front view, sunsets, pool, beach and seeing the dolphins. The condo is so quiet except for hearing the ocean which is the best. Our favorite restaurants were Sansei, Longhi's and Lahaina Fish Co. We can't wait to return to A202! |

Just wanted to say what a wonderful time we had over Thanksgiving! Papakea is still as beautiful and well kept as it was the first time we came over 20 years ago! And the view from the condo is just incredible--the ocean is so "right there" it's more like being on a cruise ship than watching the waves from the comfort of your living room. Must really be something when the whales are cruising. We would love to come again,

Our second stay at the Papakea condo was as terrific as our first. Another enjoyable trip to paradise. We could tell you've done some upgrades to the condo since we were there two years ago--new stove, new washer/dryer, new ceiling fan in the kitchen area, new cushions for the chairs, etc. That all makes the condo even nicer. As last time, the beach towels, coolers, golf putters/balls, etc. are also nice extras that make your condo such a relaxing and easy vacation lodging choice.
And, of course, the view is unbeatable from the lanai of A202! We'd recommend this condo to anybody looking for a quiet condo in a great Maui resort location.

Thank you for a great stay at Papakea. I stay at Papakea every year and have now discovered A202!! I will always try to book Jan's unit first from now on. It is a great location, view and unit. Nicely done and cared for with everything you need supplied for you. The best part is sitting on the balcony enjoying the sunset every evening and watching for the turtles and dolphins early in the morning. I have already booked for next year and am looking forward to it once again!

My husband and I got married on Maui and her condo A-202 at the Papakea could not have been a more wonderful place to add to the Hawaiian paradise. The view is amazing! Everything is in great shape and there are many items there for you to use.
I do not think I could have chosen a better person to rent from.
I am recommending her to my friends as well as you, the reader of this that are going to Maui. |

Well, we are coming to the end of our 'perfect vacation in paradise'. Thanks to you, it was perfect.
We used Tom's barefoot tours as you suggested, and biked the volcano, enjoyed a sunset cruise, helicopter flight over the island, Oahu and Pearl Harbor, we saw wales, and we just returned from 2 nights in Hana Hale Bay and LOVED it! It couldn't have been more perfect and we thank YOU so much for taking care of us as you have.
This condo has been amazing! The view, the beach, the swimming... what can I say but thank you a million
times!!!!
We ate at many of the places you recommended in your 'tips' and loved
them all.
Anyway, I cannot recommend YOU or this fabulous property enough... If we never make it back to Maui,this will be etched in our memories FOREVER! But I hope we will make it back to Maui and SOON and we will definitely want exactly the same condo!

This is our second time to stay in A-202. We love Papakea (have stayed there at least 10 times). We will always try to use A-202 if possible. It is always neat and clean. We love to sit on the lanai and watch the ocean/sunsets. The condo is well stocked with lots of things most condos don't provide. It is out of the main stream traffic which is nice. I like the fact it is on the second floor. We have stayed at several other condo's on the island and always return to Papakea. We will definitely stay again when returning, hopefully next year.

Loved the condo's view, Papakea's overall development (landscaping, pools, etc.) and Papakea's location relative to restaurants, Lahina and restaurants. It is a strong point for A202 for its lanai to be so close to the water and yet there is almost no foot traffic that goes by the front of building A, making it very private and relaxing.
The extras you provide with the unit mean a lot. . .we especially enjoyed using the beach towels (so we didn't have to take up luggage space bringing them), candles (for romantic takeout dinners on the lanai) and cooler (for taking water, etc. to nearby parks and beaches when we went for runs or wanted to go off Papakea's property).
The option of paying a partial day's rate for a late checkout is an excellent option for anybody with a late flight out. . .our flight didn't leave until 10:00pm, so the late checkout allowed us to "add" an extra day of vacation to our trip.
Would recommend this unit to anybody looking for a quiet, relaxing condo that is value priced.

| We stayed here for my 50 th along with our 16 year old son and his best friend.We all had a great time. The boys enjoyed the 18 hole putting green and the snorkling right in front of the unit. We enjoyed the wondeful hot tubs every night and we BBQ and ate on the Lanai. This place is our favorite on Maui and we truly Recommend this Condo A202 and Resort the best Vacation we have ever experienced !! |

| We stayed at Jan's condo over spring break, 2005. It was fabulous! The resort is wonderful and the condo has absolutely everything you would ever need for a beach vacation. Whale watching in the early morning right off the lanai was the highlight, although we can't forget those gorgeous sunsets! I would recommend Jan's place anytime. |

| "Direct Oceanfront" is no lie!! The first thing you see when you walk in the door is the unbelievable view - right on the ocean. The condo is light, bright and clean with furnishings ideal for a beach condo. The grounds at Papakea are kept spotless and the pool is clean and inviting! The ocean in front allows for low-key surfing, some snorkeling and has a tide pool area safe for children to enjoy. Whales and sea turtles can also be spotted right from the porch!! An excellent choice! |

| This truly is an amazing destination for anyone looking for a place to stay on Maui. This Papakea Resort Unit A202 is right on the water and with the sliding door open, you truly do go to sleep to the ocean sounds. Views, incredible. Staff, friendly and very helpful. Jan has thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable; i.e., putter for 18 hole putting course, golf balls, beach towels, coolers. My wife and I were so pleased that we have recommended this unit to everybody we talk to. With fans in every room, you really don't need the AC, but if you need it, this unit does have that extra convenience where most don't. On a scale of 1-10, I would give this a 9.5. No, it's not perfect, but it is awfully close. What a Magical Vacation! We got engaged on the Lanai as the Sun was setting our first evening. It could have not been any better. We hope to return for our honeymoon. As I write this I have only been back to reality for 1 Day, I want to go Back!
