| We had a wonderful stay! Very comfortable & homey. Everything we needed was provided. Owner is a pleasure to work with and makes himself available if needed. Staying within walking distance of the slopes was awesome! We will definitely stay again. |

A week in Big Sky is not enough! Chris and I have stayed in many rentals with mixed results. Phil has set the bar quite high. More than just a place to sleep, we could relax here. The condo is furnished and outfitted much the way that a non-rental would be. Felt like home!

My wife and I rented this great condo from July 25 through August 1, 2008. It had all the creature comforts we expected from the owners pictures and write up. It was very clean inside and outside the condo on the grounds. It was usually 55 degrees in the morning and mid 80s during the day but I was comfortable every day.
It was our home away from home while we visited Yellowstone National Park 2 days, Grand Teton National Park 1 day, and Jackson Hole Wyoming. It was only an hour or two drive to the Parks.
We went horse back riding and river rafting within 10 miles of the condo.
We walked and jogged the side roads from the condo and had a great time and very little traffic to bother us.
Thanks for the great stay at your condo. If we are ever out in Big Sky, I know where I will check first to stay. |

We spent a week in Phil's condo and liked it so much we returned two weeks later.
This is the nicest condo we've ever rented, in Wyoming, Colorado, Montana and California, at (minimum) half a dozen other ski hills.
The owners lived here, and it shows: the furnishings are outstanding, and the kitchen is set up for any type of meal preparation. It's very comfortable and convenient to the mountain. This is an ideal place for a couple who want to ski! It might be a bit crowded for more people if they stayed a week..........
As mentioned in a previous post, Phil's a great guy to deal with: he went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable with tips on where to ski, and even set us up with a realtor.
We plan to return; I really hope this posting doesn't mess this up for us with everyone booking it! (Sorry, Phil).

The condo is very well appointed and attractive throughout. The kitchen is fully modern, with plenty of utensils and cooking supplies. There is a good food preparation area and a pleasant eating area.
We found ourselves magnetically attracted to the large couch in the living room, which faces a large coffee table, tv, and fireplace. The condo complex was quiet.
The bedroom is small, but the bed is very comfortable.
The location is outstanding, close to the lifts, shuttle stops, mountain mall, and hotels. We elected not have a car, and we did not regret that decision.
There is no night life at Big Sky, although we did get to go a free screening of Warren Miller's latest film. We did all of our shopping in Bozeman, as there is no full service grocery store at Big Sky.
It's a fairly easy walk to the lifts and you can ski most of the way back to the condo. It was great to be close enough that we could come back to the condo for lunch break. We liked having a convenient, outdoor ski closet.
Phil is an excellent landlord. He was very helpful and friendly in the planning stages of our trip (buy those lift tix at Costco), and he went beyond the call of duty in helping us get our gear to the bus stop.
My wife and I have been skiing for over 20 years. We've skied almost every major resort in North America, and Big Sky skiing is definitely in the top tier of ski areas. It's big enough that there is always good snow somewhere on the mountain.
We've already booked a return trip in 2009. |
