Loved the cottage, quiet neighborhood, loved watching the sailboats. Everything was wonderful at the cottage. Went to a horse show, to Grand Haven, Whitehall, Montague & walker around downtown. "Don't miss this" recommendation: Visit Grand Haven and the fountain/light show on the dunes.

Cottage was fully "fit out" ready to be a home away from home, lovely decorations/interior finishes, and the area has a great beach within walking/biking distance. Don't miss the bike trail - we rode from cabin to downtown, very nice. Downtown was "ok" but a bit empty feeling, but bike ride was great. [We enjoyed] the beach, Michigan Adventure, local playgrounds, Lakes Mall area.

Loved the coziness, and the whimsical, funky style. . . felt close & warm there. . . We enjoyed a long walk through the quaint streets of the old "Artist Colony" of Bluffton, to the shores of Lake Michigan and along the leafy trails of the beautiful park system. The waves of Lake Michigan were taller than we were and roared at us while we collected treasures from the sand. We marveled at the magnitude of this lake!

We came here for my 7-year anniversary and this was one of our best trips yet. The cottage was so clean and comfortable and it had everything we needed. We went to the beach located very close to this cottage and walked on the Pier. The beach was beautiful and the area of this cottage is so peaceful and quiet.

First Anniversary. Very comfortable, cozy & had everything we needed - Lake Michigan beach & Grand Haven were great. Perfect for couples - loved the decor & nice calming colors. :) This place was SO comfortable & a good thing because we spent most of our time here due to the rainy weather.

Eagles Nest's quaint comfy, and hip decor and its fabulous linens, and the outfitted kitchen gave us the feeling of luxury that exceeded our home-away-from-home expectations. It was the perfect size for family of four (our kids are 15 & 10).
The Lake Michigan beach at Muskegon State Park offers gorgeous dune scapes, sandbars, and fewer people.

We are on our family vacation and also visiting family in Montague. The Eagles Nest is very clean & home away from home. We spent most days at Duck Lake State Park & we went to Michigan Adventure one day. We would definitely recommend Eagles Nest to friends and family.

Cleaner than the 5 star hotels I've stayed in. We were close to everything - Lake Michigan beach, Lake Muskegon beach (when big lake was too cold), Michigan's Adventure, etc. We enjoyed being on top of the dune and making S'Mores in the fire pit. The sounds of nature from the back patio were great! The kids loved the black squirrels. Jane's attention to detail was superb - we couldn't have asked for anything more.

This little cottage has a great location for both downtown and lake access fun. I really enjoyed the outside setting area/firepit area. Kids said - "Flatscreen TV's!" We enjoyed biking on the nearby trail, and there were lots of different parks we went to with our kids. Of course, Pere Marquette Beach is perfect. Housekeeper was outstanding. Amenities: Great. Nice attention to the little things - i.e. ziploc bags.

We came on an annual Grandpa-Father-Son week-end fishing trip. The cottage was perfect for what we needed. Driveway was long enough to back boat & trailer behind truck and get them off the street. Easy, short trip to Jaycee boat launch. Quiet neighborhood. Very peaceful location. Very clean. Would gladly come again.
