| We were lucky enough to stay at beautiful Alihi Lani #4 for two weeks over the Christmas and New Years holidays. We were impressed with Alihi Lani from the minute we stepped inside. The books and DVD's, beach toys and accessories and fully equipped kitchen made it a place where we could feel comfortable and settled; just like a true home away from home. The view from the lanai was unbelievable and we never tired of the amazing sight we woke up to each morning. We spent hours sitting outside reading, dining and watching the whales, schools of dolphins and even sea turtles. Alihi Lani is located close to many great restaurants, shops and beaches but also had a great pool (with ocean view, of course!) when we just felt like being close to home. When we return to Kauai, we will absolutely stay at Alihi Lani #4. There would be no reason to look elsewhere! |

| Our family had a wonderful stay at this condo. It was beautiful, comfortable, and the view from the lanai was to die for. Everything was there for us to use. It was very well equipped. We loved the location, too....steps from the Sheraton, short drive into Poipu and Koloa. Very close to amazing snorkeling and great beaches like Salt Pond Park and Poipu Beach. We would definitely rent this condo again. The 5 of us (all adults) had plenty of room to move around. We were not cramped at all. It was great value for the money and Cynthia was very easy to work with and extremely accomodating. |

| We have no complaints with Cynthia's condo. Everthing new, updated, and stylish. All beach towels and toys provided for the short walk to the best beaches on Kauai. Best view with large balcony for dinner or a nap. Private pool for evening dips - watch the kids swim as the sun sets from the balcony. No need to bri.ng anything but your swim suit. Even has A/C for the hot summer afternoons |

WOW! Alihi Lani #4 is absolutely fantastic!! My
husband and I had such a wonderful time in part
because of the beautiful accommodations. We
enjoyed the view, sea turtles and surfers every
evening from the lanai and nothing beats falling
asleep to the sound of the ocean each night. This
was truly paradise and will be our home away from
home whenever we travel to Kauai! |

| This unit is beautiful and so comfortable. Whenever we travel (frequently) we "shop" for special places to stay, and we certainly scored on this one. Our family of four loved all the personal touches and the beautiful Polynesian decor. Having the Pacific Ocean as a "front yard" is not bad, either! Poipu Beach is a great home base on Kauai if you like sunshine, great restaurants, and beaches. I would definitely stay here again, as it felt like home. The condo is stocked with great movies, excellent sound systems and high quality tvs for movie watching (which our college-age daughters enjoyed at night.) There are lots of books on the islands, fish, birds, etc. Plus, binoculars to view the sea turtles that were out front almost everyday. We even saw a rare Hawaiian monk seal come up on the beach nearby. We would walk a couple of minutes to the lovely beach in front of the Sheraton, a low-key, low-rise beach front resort--one of the south's best beaches, next to Poipu Beach park. Great snorkeling at Poipu Beach, by the way. A perk of hanging out at the Sheraton beach was enjoying their beach bar and grill for lunch. We just took chairs and boogie boards, and spent happy hours on the golden sand beach enjoying ourselves. Had several excursions around the island--two of which are very close--Spouting Horn and the National Botanical Gardens. The Poipu location is ideal. The little town of Koloa is right up the road and offers groceries and very neat shops. You will definitely get a feel for Kauai's beauty staying here. |

| My husband and I had the opportunity to stay here from June 8-14, 2009. I am truly the skeptic when it comes to booking places I have only seen online. Cynthia's Alhi Lani Condo absolutely outdid any expectations I had. The pictures don't do it justice. It is gorgeous! We had such a wonderful time listening to the ocean and having coffee on the lanai each morning. Sea turtles even visited us every day. Anyone staying in Kauai would be very happy staying here. Cynthia was very nice to work with. She provides anything you need to make it feel like your own home. She answered all of my questions quickly and professionally. We can't wait until we can go back. Thanks Cynthia for making our first trip to Kauai so fantastic! |

| Just as the photos promised this is a lovely and relaxing place to take in the Pacific shore. As mainlanders, we spent many a morning sipping coffee and watching the sun rise on the lanai. The condo was beautifully furnished and worked well for our family of 2 adults and 2 grown teens. Everything we needed was provided. We would definitely come back and stay here again. |

This was by far one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in. It came complete with everything you could imagine. Cynthia is wonderful to work with and did all she could to make this special for us. We were in Kauai for our sons wedding. It was just perfect. Acutally, my sisters family stayed in the unit next door and it didn't even compare to ours. Can't wait to go back!

| Our stay at Alihi Lani in Poipu, Kauai was outstanding...From the beautiful view to the relaxing accommodations, we couldn't have enjoyed it more anywhere else! It was just what we wanted in a vacation! The newly updated furnishings were exquisitely and tastefully done...We especially enjoyed the hardwood flooring, updated kitchen and bathroom, and the open and air-y feeling of the entire condo. We would definitely recommend this location to other visitors, and we already have...We hope others enjoy their stay as much as we did. Thanks, Cynthia, for sharing your home with us. |

From the moment we stepped into this condo we felt we were truly in paradise. This recently updated condo had everything we needed to make our stay in Kauai a memorable and comfortable vacation. From the granite counter tops, the dark wood floors, the walk in shower to the ocean views from the master bedroom, the interior design reminded me of an upscale boutique hotel....cosmopolitan while still being tropical. The view from the expansive lanai across the front of the unit provided us with the most breathtaking views of the ocean and the most spectacular sunsets. We enjoyed sunset cocktails almost every night on this lanai. The kitchen came fully equipped with everything we needed and the full size washer and drier were an added bonus. We were able to bring half the amount of clothing knowing we could conveniently wash everything at the end of the first week. The interior decorating was stunning and all of our needs were met in first class style. We will definitely be staying here again. We loved it! The owner (Cynthia Haines) was easy to work with and was very accomodating to our needs. Even though we saw some lovely photos on the internet before renting, this condo far exceeded our expectations!!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo with us. We loved the hawaiian feel inside and it was great that it was stocked with all the necessities. From beach stuff to toiletries to coffee....we felt like we were set!! We really enjoyed sitting out on the lanai and enjoying the beautiful ocean view. We liked how the beds were very comfy and you had plush towels for us! ( I guess we are a little picky when it comes to that kind of stuff.) Your condo exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to visit Kauai again soon and stay at your place.

| Another 10 days in paradise, this time at Cynthia's property Alihi Lani #4. The condo is wonderful! Cynthia has gone to extra efforts to have everything you would want or need during your stay. All the comforts of home & more. We spent hours on the lanai reading, watching the turtles, dolphins & beautiful turquoise ocean. It's so relaxing. The complex is quiet, the pool nice, and great beaches close by. This is our second trip to Kauai & have had the pleasure to stay now in both her properties, Poipu Kapili #54 & Alihi Lani #4. They are both amazing & we are looking forward to returning next year. Thanks for making our stay so magical!! |

| We recently stayed at the Alihi Lani#4. Your accommodations were immaculate and beautiful! We went to sleep each evening to the soothing and serene sounds of the ocean. We awoke each morning to those same ocean sounds! As well, each morning was spent on the beautiful lanai watching whales and dolphins swimming, turtles feeding at the shoreline rocks, and colorful birds visiting the complex! We hope to return soon to your home away from home in paradise! |

| My husband, two children and I just returned from our first stay on Kauai. We really lucked out with fabulous accomodation by booking unit #4 at Alihi Lani. This two bedroom/two bathroom oceanfront condo was impeccably decorated with designer-quality furniture/lighting, comfortable beds, thoughtful amenities (fully equipped modern kitchen, dvd/cd/book library, oversized top of the line washer/dryer, ceiling fans and air-conditioning, newly renovated master bathroom with gorgeous tiled walk-in shower, three flat-screen tv's, beach chairs, board games, etc...) and the location was superb. We could walk five minutes to Poipu Beach (in front of the Sheraton Hotel) or we could drive two minutes to Lawai Beach for great snorkeling. We enjoyed using the barbecue most evenings and sitting on the lovely lanai which overlooks the pool and the ocean for spectacular sunsets. This building only has six units so you're staying in a quaint, peaceful environment. I enjoyed running/walking to Spouting Horn every morning. We also could drive five minutes to the cute town of Koloa or to Poipu Shopping Village for groceries, souvenirs and restaurants. There is a resort construction project behind the condo, but to be perfectly honest, our stay was not affected in the least. I would not hesitate to book #4 at Alihi Lani again and I'm recommending it highly to all of my friends and family. You will love it too!!! |

Just letting you know that we had a great time in Kauai! You have a
lovely spot there which we thoroughly enjoyed with our family.
Your condo is beautiful and I loved having the big deck with such an
amazing view. The location worked out perfect for us. The dive site
was so close we could practically walk (except for the tanks!). 3 of
the family got in one boat dive too! We had 4 days of PERFECT
weather with no rain. I saw whales breaching right out front on the
1st day. We dined at the Beach House Restaurant 2x's and at Yum Cha
at the Hyatt and did the Smith Luau. Great spots!
If we end up back here
someday I will definitely check with you. |

Your condo is just beautiful and I loved going to sleep listening to the ocean waves! We all loved the beds! Our friends, who slept in the back bedroom, said it was the most comfortable mattress they had ever slept on! I loved the decor and especially the multi drawer divider - so cool! Plus I loved the lighting fixtures. If we ever have the opportunity to return I would certainly love to stay here again. Although the construction started at 7:30 a.m. (no need for alarm clocks between that and the roosters!) it never bothered us.

I have had the pleasure of staying at both Poipu Kapili 54 (March ’07) and Alihi Lani 4 (August ’07). These condos have been beautifully remodeled by the owner, Cynthia Haines. I discovered these properties on her website, AllTheBestBeachHouses. com. Both properties have spectacular ocean views, and are in a prime location, next door to the Sheraton Beach. In March, I saw whales fully breaching while sitting on the living room sofa (not that you can stay sitting down after seeing something like that up close!)
This time, at Alihi Lani, I have enjoyed sitting on the lanai, counting how many huge turtles were swimming right in front of me. Both units are decorated with high-end furnishings, granite countertops in the fully-equipped kitchens, washer/dryers, comfortable beds, and luxurious linens and towels, The owner has thoughtfully provided well-supplied desk areas, binoculars, sightseeing books, beach towels, hair dryers, CDs, DVDs, games, and more... Life doesn’t get any better than this!
At Alihi Lani, I especially enjoyed relaxing on the 2nd floor unit’s large covered lanai. We napped on the comfortable daybed, ate our meals at the bar height table (even better view!), and whiled away the hours looking at the panoramic ocean view. The air conditioners were a nice bonus. I was inspired by the “Taste of Aloha” cookbooks the owner had provided, and had to try out some of the recipes. I was pleased to find everything I needed, and much more, in the kitchen. The 6-unit complex had easy parking in the back and an ocean front pool (we never had to share) with a barbeque area that overlooks the ocean. The bathrooms were beautiful with natural stone tiling throughout and multiple showerheads in the oceanfront master bath suite.
Even though there was some construction going on in the area, the noise did not affect our enjoyment of the property. We were up early (with jet lag), sat at the beach or went sight seeing during the day and when we came back enjoyed a nice quiet evening – by the way you can see the sun set from the lanai as well. We highly recommend staying here, and can’t wait to stay here again in the future.

Happy 4th of July
We're happy to be your (Cynthia) 1st guests in such a beautiful place! Nights on the patio enjoying the sunsets and the occassional glimpse of the sea turtles, were priceless! Million dollar view/ we have had a great week and a half in Hawaii. If you are up to it, try kayaking down the Napali coast, My arms are still recovering but it was well worth it! Well we are off to the airport, back to Boston.... go sox!
We all hope you get a chance to enjoy this place as much as we did!
