| 18 of us arrived in Antigua for a big family holiday this Christmas and it couldn't have been better spent then in the Carib House and being looked after by Lou, Jonny and Mirella. We had a brilliant time and thanks for all of your help in making it just a wonderful holiday from providing us with fresh fish straight from the fishing boat to lobster on xmas day, everything was perfect and the house itself and pool brilliant for a large family with children aged 6 months to those aged 60! Will definitely be back. |

This October we celebrated my best friend's 40th birthday. As the event planner I conducted an exhaustive search for "the perfect Antigua villa" to celebrate with our friends. The Carib House was truly perfect in every way. Lou, Jonny and Mirella, you were so accomodating and generous. You truly made it feel like OUR home. Even when Hurricane Omar came through you ensured that we were safe and had everything we needed. My friends and I continue to talk about how throughout the storm we always felt secure and comfortable. (of course the beer, vodka and rum helped too) I travel the Carribean islands often and try to always stay in a private villa. The Carib House is definitely on my list of favorites and I can't wait to come back. |

An 80th birthday was made memorable in this place. Wonderful cool breeze, enough space for 13 of us,including 2 youngsters (1 and 3) and other grand children up to age 26. Everything thought of by the hospitable Lou, efficient cleaning by Marella, and great food from Ruthie. Thank you all very much for your exceptional kindness

Our little group of 8 have traveled together once a year for 15 years throughout the Caribbean and Mexico. Never has ANYBODY gone the extra mile that Lou has to make us enjoy ourselves. Amd Julia's food was excellent. Antigua was a wonderful vacation for all of us and Lou's extra effort made a huge difference in our enjoyment. I am especially grateful for Lou's concern and efforts in keeping me in touch with my family and my Mother's illness

Dear Lou, Jonny and the boys This has been an incredible experience. This was one of our best vacations. It would have been our best if my hubby was here too but the kids and I have had the time of our life. I am certainly suggesting this place to all of my friends who need a break. Our thanks go to Ruthie for thise awesomely refreshing salads I will miss them very much and to Maria we say thanks a million for keeping us clean. We will always remember this place and hope we can return again. Can we ever forget Marco, the toad!? All in all this was a great experience, thanks Lou for being so hospitable - if you'll let us, we will definitely be back, God bless you & keep you

I originally rented the Carib House for a three generational family holiday to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday. Since the family is spread across the UK as well as the USA, this was going to be excitement enough. However, part-way through the planning, his daughter asked if she could increase the excitement - by getting married in the villa.
Lou immediately and enthusiastically came up with suggestions for all the people that mattered, such as the caterer and florist, and for the next nine months was my co-wedding planner in Antigua in making sure that everything happened on the day.
And it did. The place was just perfect for a 32 person wedding, including friends and family who travelled from the UK, the US and Dubai.
The gazebo was transformed from a relaxing area with stuffed-sofas and swinging hammocks to a beautiful, flower-decorated wedding parlour. The atmosphere after dark with the lights and the candles, was just magical. The little 6 year-old flower girl must have thought that perhaps, after all, life is just like the movies!
I would love to see another visit back to the Carib House in our future - who knows?
And if I didn’t thank you enough at the time Lou - thank you, for everything........

| The Carib House was was our introduction to the Antigua, which was wonderful. We have subsequently lived in Antigua for two years and albeit the island has great accommodation, the hospitality given to us by Johny and Lou and the the comfort of The carib House, made it a very memorable stay. Let us know when your video is completed, would love to see it. Richard and Bridget |

How can one express in mere words the unique experience of sharing with family (there were 10 of us) the gentle joys of living in a stunning Antiguan villa for a week? How can one describe the warm, caressing tradewinds, the breathtaking panoramic view of the Caribbean Sea and Falmouth Harbour, the privacy afforded by the beautiful landscaping, and the nurturing (and never overbearing) attention of the owners, Louisa and Jonny (not to mention Trippy de Cat)? How to convey the friendliness of the locals, the ease (and fun) of shopping for food at the markets, the memorable day-sail aboard The Ivy, the comforting music of the night peepers in the trees, the ritual of morning coffee in the gazebo by the pool while listening to the waves breaking on the shore below, and the invigorating, rejuvenating sense of outdoor living afforded by the open-air architecture of Carib House? As I sit here in gray, cold, wet Toronto in my 15th-floor hermetically sealed studio, my tan fading by the hour, all I can think of is this: I want to come back. Soon. |

The Carib House is amazing! I went there with my mum, dad, brother, his friend and my friend! the whole week was so much fun, there was not a boring minute! Trippy the cat was sooo cute 2! you have to go jet skiing, sooo much fun! I really enjoyed are 10 days in antigua and i can't wait to come back! This a poem by My friend (Rosie) and I(Belle), In Antigua it is sunny, but it can make you feel funny, if you do not drink enough water, you are in for the slaughter, so come to the Carib house for your stay, and you will be fulfilled everyday, the pool, the sea, the sun and no rain, will make you want to come back again! |

When he met us at the airport, Renford aptly described The Carib House as a "nest of Righteousness". Our week here has been more than a dream come true - the house providing every comfort and an unbelievably breath-taking view, Lou coming by ata moment's notice with creams for our burns, Charlie's sublime meals, cheescake, and a bottomless rum punch - we could not have imagined a more perfect escape. Thank you so much for your hospitality, for perfect restaurant and beach recommendations, and for memories that will last well past the NY/NJ chill!

| My husband and I were married in Antigua in May 2003, then had our reception at the Carib House - it was the most beautiful wedding I could imagine! We stayed there for a week with our friends, and enjoyed every minute of the pool, the barbeque, and the views! Johnny and Lou were very helpful in offering great suggestions for caterers, and a wine sommelier, and flowers. We will look back forever and remember our memories here. |

Jonny -
We cannot thank you enough. Our month long stay at The Carib House was perfect. Our children could not have enjoyed a more wonderful vacation! Please use us as references whenever you would like. We cannot think of a negative part of the month.
We are trying to figure out how to duplicate the cottage house here, but we cannot quite get the "tradewinds" right!.
Jonny, our sincerest thanks again for a month of lifelong memories.

| Our group stayed in the house in 2001 and loved it from the beginning to the end. The web view was just as it stated and better. We did not want to leave. The owner was there everyday to do the pool and little things because his manager was on vacation and he did not have to do this. Ask for Remy if you want a cook. You have not eaten until you have experience his cooking. He even has a little place for eating and drinking. We wanted to bring him home with us. The people and the area is great. Enjoy the ocean breeze every day and night. We are going back because we loved it. |

WOW, We still can’t stop thinking about what a wonderful time we had at the Carib House. The house was lovely & spectacular. Lou, Jonny, Mathew & Joshie were wonderful and our wedding was perfect. The Carib House was the perfect location for our small wedding. Liz (outstanding job planning the car hire, sail boat, and mostly our wedding), Lou & Jonny were great! We never expected such personal service. Everyone helped with our wedding, from getting our wedding documentation sorted to being a part of our wedding. I cannot forget the fabulous wedding dinner that Charlie prepared!! I especially liked when Jonny arrived the morning of our wedding with a bunch of fresh flowers he gathered out of his yard…and ending the night in a wool tuxedo, very nice touch. Not many owners would do something so thoughtful.
Your personal recommendations on where to eat, drink and shop were all great. Everyone we met had a special glow about them, making our trip perfect. I loved the girls at the Tree House too! They made me feel like a princess with all of their pampering. Our day of sailing on “Pandamania” with Capt. Rik and his wife was perfect. And, our first scuba dive with Caroline and her father could not have been a better experience. We also wish that there were more Renford’s in the world….he was a hoot! Please give everyone a big hug from Dave and myself and tell them we will be back next year to hug everyone ourselves.
Two words come to mind about the experience, people and place; “Genuine & Stunning”.
Sincerely, Dave & Angela Aguilar

We had a wonderful vacation at Carib-House. We're still talking about it. You are terrific hosts and that really made it so easy to enjoy. Your suggestions for Barbara, the chef, restaurants, and the yacht ride were excellent. The hospitality of the people is amazing. They all put you right at ease and Ren is quite the philosopher

I should have written this at least a week ago to say how much we all really enjoyed staying at your beautiful house. The whole 2 and a bit weeks was perfect and I have never felt so flat after a holiday in my life. It was very hard getting back to reality - in fact I am not sure that I have come down to earth yet. You looked after us so well and everything seemed to run so smoothly. It was a perfect holiday in every way.
