My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Webb School. Opening our eyes in the morning and looking up through the magnificent ancient oak trees ...it felt like a tree house (but much more comfortable). We loved the spaciousness, our own private well- equipped kitchen, the clean bathroom, and hanging out on the porch with a glass of wine. Simon, our very large dog, was welcome and made friends with the owner's dogs. Ellis even fed him for us one night that we were out late. We can't wait to come back and stay even longer. |

The Webb School is my favorite retreat of all time. It's at once spacious and cozy, classy and down home. And, it's just a few blocks from the beach. I spent a week there in October '09 to write and recreate, and will definitely do it again. Owner Ellis Anderson is a warm, gracious hostess. I recommend the Webb School very highly! |

| Wonderful experience. The space is light-filled and comfortable. Mornings and evenings on the verandah with coffee and wine add to the genteel Southern ambience. Best of all, my poodle is welcome. She loves walking on the beach, which is nearby. |
