Lovely house, fantastic location
Our family (2 adults and 2 girls aged 5 and 8) stayed here for a week in Aug 2009. The house is directly on the ocean front with a great swimming pool and big veranda. In the evening you can dine outside as there is a large table and there are lights, fans etc. Also a great place to eat breakfast whilst looking out to sea and watch for dolphins. We spent so much time swimming in the pool which is completely private. It was great to come home from being out and about in the hot weather and diving in to cool off. We often stayed in and put the pool lights on in the evening and enjoyed the sunsets. The house is very well equipped, washer/dryer, microwave and plenty of towels and beach towels and there are 2 good size bathrooms. There is a banana tree outside and there were plenty of delicious bananas! It is well located with just a short drive into town for the many eateries, shops etc. We had a fantastic relaxing stay here and we would definitely stay there again. There were only 2 little niggles - there is no AC in the house, however if you open the patio doors in all the rooms the breeze from the sea cools the house off somewhat although the back bedroom remained quite hot. There are standing fans and ceiling fans supplied which we used at night. The other thing is there was no internet facility although at times we could log on to somebody else's wireless connection. We also found the agent and staff very helpful - we left a bag with our laptop, house and car keys at the house when we left and were at the airport when we realised. They tried their hardest to get the bag to us before we got on the plane but in the end they had to mail it to our US home address. It arrived safe and sound shortly after we got home. Great holiday.........great memories.
