(Visited November 26 - 29, 2009) Thank you Scott & Shannon for opening up your 2nd home & enabling so many people to enjoy Belltown! I'm a bit different, as Seattle is my "home" though I currently work & live in Portland, OR. My family & friends thought I was crazy for renting a place as I've always stayed with them before - but after they visited me here, they changed their minds :) Staying here smack dab in Belltwon allowed me to see & experience things I had never seen before! Early morning runs along Elliott Bay Trail (highly recommended) & evening strolls. A few recommendations for future visitors: Food: Maximillina's (at Pike Place Market) - Yum!, Ivar's (of course, as Seattle institution), the first Starbucks (a must-visit) Run: head toward the mountains, North along the water and hit the Elliot Bay Trail - you will NOT be disappointed....the view is amazing. Stores: Pike Place Market, Ye Olde Curiosity Shop (where else can you see 2 mummies & an 8 legged pig?), Pacific Place
My dog, Jet, enjoyed his stay & we look forward to our next visit!!

(Visited November 19 - 22, 2009) What a great place to stay - such an easy walk to so many things. Our boys loved it - the Aquarium, the Space Needle, the Science Museum, and yes, we rode the Duck too. Dinner this evening was at the Crab Pot on the waterfront. Our 4 yr old & nearly 6 yr old didn't eat much crab, but they sure loved whacking it with the little wooden mallets! Off to the zoo tomorrow morning then back home to Portland on the train. Thanks!

(Visited November 7 - 18, 2009) I stayed here at this wonderful waterfront condo while recuperating from donating a kidney at Swedish Medical Center. I couldn't have selected a better place. It was truly as if it was "meant to be." I'd hoped for some place cozy & peaceful during what I knew would be a challenging time with pain & whatnot. It delivered that plus much more. The view & the various activities within close proximity inspired me to get up & outside for short walks, which was just what the doctor had encouraged me to do. Scott & Shannon were both such a delight to work with. They truly went above & beyond my expectations. Just a side note......Donate and organ - it's an amazing experience!!

(Visited October 9 - 12, 2009) Up from Portland for a friend's wedding & our 11 yr anniversary! Perfect location! Dig the turn-of-the-century accents.....cool! Very nice pad. So nice to kick it on the patio after a day of Pike Place Market, the waterfront, & our first "Zombie Walk" at the Space Needle! Brownies, wine, and a goooooood time!

(Visited September 25 - 27, 2009) I can't think of a better way to celebrate my birthday! My friends and I thought the condo was absolutely fabulous. It was so amazing that part of us wanted to just stay inside to enjoy the place instead of touring the city. Thanks for setting everything up so beautifully! I will highly recommend this place to all of my friends and family!

(Visited September 16 - 18, 2009) Spent 2 days on Harley rentals touring the area on day trips - how wonderful to come back after a long day of riding to such a comfortable home. Normally we would stay on the road, but changed it up this time - and thankfully so.....the Jacuzzi tub was wonderful! For any bikers or car travellers looking for fantastic scenery & roads you should check out #2 from Monroe to Leavenworth (make sure to take some time for the town - Swiss Alp type town) - head down 97 to Canyon Creek home. You won't be disappointed. Thank you again Shannon for such a great place to stay. I will definitely be recommending to friends and family. Happy Riding!

(Visited September 10 - 16, 2009) Shannon & Scott, Lee and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Seattle owing in large part to your gracious hospitality and this especially convenient, sweet place by the Bay. Thank you so much for the stay and for being so thoughtful in your accommodations. TIP: If you have a care (or not), take the hiking loop through the meadow & forest at Discovery Park :)

(Visited September 7 - 10, 2009) Shannon and Scott, Thanks so very much for the use of your thoughtfully appointed and generously stocked condo. This was our 4th visitg to the beautiful city of Seattle and our fantasies of moving here for good were nurtured by the hominess and personalized decor of our surroundings. We particularly enjoyed being able to shop at the market for groceries and prepare our own, locally grown fiest in the kitchen. We will certainly be back soon!

(Visited August 17 - 21) First, thanks for being such gracious hosts and providing such a welcoming home away from home with all the little extras. Our 1st stay in Seattle was a great experience. Of course we were not able to do it all - but we did most of what we wanted to do. The 107 steps up to Pike Place Market seemed the most efficient way to go. Free buses did the rest. Your location is central to so much......and so nice to return to. Thanks!

(Visited July 11-15 2009) "Wow" - Quoted from my 5 year old daughter as we walked in the door. We all thought the same thing. What a great place. July 12 - we went to Pike Place Market early in the morning & had lots of treats, and of course hot chocolate from the Original Starbucks. Walked down to Safeco Field and watched the Mariners beat Texas. Stopped by Ivar's for fish-n-chips. July 13 - "Wow" another great day. We took the monorail to the Needle & went to the children's museum. Our girls had so much fun! We did the "Duck" tour, and I was a little hesitant going into the water. But what an amazing ride. Ended the day at the Spaghetti Factory for dinner. July 14 - We went to see the salmon swim up the ladder at the Ballard Locks - that was neato. Then we went & hung out at the zoo. We end the trip munching on hot fresh doughnuts, raspberries, & blueberries! What a great morning, what a great trip, what a great place. Thank you!!
