We stayed in this apartment for 5 nights over the New Year's holiday, checked out on January 3, 2010. We could not have been more pleased with our vacation. The description on the website is accurate and the location is ideal--literally in the heart of Times Square. When we arrived, walking into the apartment was a little like walking into a very nice hotel room--clean, uncluttered, nicely arranged, and welcoming. We walked everywhere from this location, but the building is conveniently right on top of a subway station if we had needed it. The concierge was helpful and even gave us passes so we could come and go across police lines during the New Year's Eve celebrations. The owner of the apartment kept in close contact by email or phone and was always quick to respond to my inquiries. We very much appreciated the ample towels, soft linens, and extra blankets, as well as the King sized bed (King beds seem hard to come by in affordable NYC rentals). We also appreciated the full sized kitchen complete with the latest appliances including a dishwasher. We did not cook, but could have as all the pots and pans, stemware, utensils, plates etc. were well supplied. The bathroom is quite large for a NYC apartment, with a larger-than-full-size bathtub. The shower had fantastic water pressure! A washer and dryer in the apartment came in handy too since I packed only what would fit into a small carry-on bag. I would recommend this apartment for 2 to 4 people without hesitation.
