We loved the stay at The Heron's Nest, recommend it, and are confident others will like it equally as much. It is attractive, very clean and furnished attractively and you do feel like you are coming home and not to a hotel. Everybody had their own room which was very nice We liked having a free washer and dryer so we didn't have to waste time in a laundromat. We, Like past guest had food items we couldn’t or didn’t want to take with us and we left them for the next houseguest and this is not what you would find in a hotel. We did find a very nice beach just 13 miles south from the house. It is called St Petes Beach. We have already started planning our next vacation and it will be back here again. Thank You for making our vacation a lot more relaxing.

| This was one of the best vacation we have taken due to the house being just perfect. Thank You, You made the house feel like a home. I like the fact that like us, past users left items behind they didn't or couldn't take so the next family could use them. This is better then an hotel because your kids can be in their own rooms so you can relax. We found a very nice and quite beach about 11 miles south (on Gulf Blvd)of the house. It's called St. Pete's Beach. We will come back next year. Again Thank You, This made our vacation alot better then we hope for. |

My wife and I enjoyed our two weeks at this property. The unit was very well furnished. The owners put a lot of thought into making sure everything we'd need while there was provided - right down to the coffee, tea and hot chocolate, even toiletry items. The only things we bought were groceries.
The location is in a nice residential area which is quite pleasant to walk around. The beach and fishing pier is only a five minute walk away.
It has a lovely sheltered patio with a BBQ. The yard has an orange tree and a grapefruit tree providing breakfast fruit that couldn't be any fresher.
The owners live nearby go out of their way to be as helpful as they can.
If we should return to that part of Florida, we wouldn't hesitate to stay at this property. |

We loved stay at The Heron's Nest, recommend it, and are confident others will like it equally as much. The furniture is attractive and comfortable -- especially the beds and mattresses which are tops in comfort.
We enjoyed most of our breakfasts outdoors on the large covered patio -- which kept us dry one morning when it was raining. Being from Maine, it was an experience to remember, to pick our own fresh grapefruit and oranges from the trees in the yard. The pink grapefruit was sweeter and better than we get from our supermarket.
It was nice to take our usual short morning walk, just a block and a half or so, and end up sunning on the beach or fishing from the pier; close enough for a walk back to The Nest for lunch --then back to the beach in the afternoon.
We liked having a free washer and dryer so we didn't have to find a laundromat or keep a bunch of quarters on hand to do our laundry.
We loved The Heron's Nest. It is attractive, very clean and furnished attractively and at a price much less than expected along the Florida coast. We will be back.

| Recently, the Heron's Nest was my sweet, cozy, home-away-from-home for a delightful five days. Being just a few minutes walk from the beach, and decorated in a charming heron-and-ocean theme, it made for a great ocean holiday experience. The kitchen was well-stocked with dining-and-cooking ware and every thought seemed to have been put into making the stay romantic and comfortable. The outside garden/barbecue area--complete with grapefruit tree and turtle pond--was great fun for the whole family, also. And the location was convenient to fine dining and shopping! Who could want more than the Heron's Nest for a relaxing stay? |

My wife and I had a great time at the Heron's Nest! The place is comfortable, clean, everything we needed was there. The nearby beach is calm and warm, and the fishing is great, especially off the pier. The owners were very friendly, they live nearby and they're easily available for questions and to orient us around the area. I think we'll come back next year!
