| Great place to stay, quiet, somewhat secluded, real cozy for 2 people or a small family. Inside of cabin was perfect with a nice coziness feel. Stayed in the Yooper Cabin early in February 2008 for a few days and did some snowmobiling with family members. Had a great time! We will be back! |

We arrived Friday night in U.P. hoping to stay somewhere between Mass City and South Range. We were unaware it was Winter Carnival Weekend and that lodging would be limited. The kind lady at Krupp's found us the "Yooper Lodge" to stay at. Thank You Dave and Barbara for such a cozy and private place to stay. The trails were incredible and so was the boondocken. Another awesome trip to the U.P.

The day we came, you were getting 17 inches of snow. It snowed some every day while we were here. We had a great week. Everyone is so friendly. We love staying in this area. We rode 610 miles mostly great trails. The cabin is equipped so great also. Movies and games are a wonderful added touch. Thank You. Hope to see you again soon.

Our stay here was very nice. Place to visit is Bond Falls, it is maybe a 1/2 hour to 45 mins from here. We really enjoyed ourselves. Your cabin is very cute and cozy. Thank you again. Just a little something, we sat on the porch for a while last night and 2 deer walked right up to the cabin. Awesome!

On our way to the State campground, tired and exhausted, we stumbled across the Mansell's sign "vacancy". Being as it was late and dreading the prospect of setting up camp, we decided to check out the accomodations. We were amazed to find an almost new cabin nestled in their backwoods. We decided to stay the night. Our plans were to head to the Keweenaw area in the morning. We discovered a "things to do book" that was wonderful in helping us plan our trip. In the morning we were so pleased with the cabin we decided to stay another night. Who would ever want to set up a tent again? We went to see copper mines, light houses and water falls. With the help of that book, we had a great time! We must say the only thing better than your wonderful cabin and well organized book, is the people we encountered in the Mansells, Thank you so much. Never change.
