HomeAway Connect Privacy Policy
General
This privacy policy covers how HomeAway Connect treats personal information that HomeAway Connect collects and receives. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, email address and that is not otherwise publicly available.

The policy does not apply to information that are published for the public domain such as your property name, description, dates booked, and guest comments and personal information where the guest has elected for it to be displayed.


Information Collection and Use
HomeAway Connect collects personal information when you apply and register for a HomeAway Connect account. We only collect personal information that is necessary for us to provide you with the services offered on our site. This personal information includes your name, email address and password, which are required to gain access to your account.


Cookies And Server Log
HomeAway Connect may set cookies on your computer to allow you to log into your HomeAway Connect account without having to type your login information each time.

HomeAway Connect automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, information and the page you requested. The server logs are only for our server administration and management purposes.


Information Sharing and Disclosure
HomeAway Connect does not rent, sell or share personal information about you with other parties or nonaffiliated companies except to provide products or services you have requested., when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

- We provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with HomeAway Connect under confidentiality agreements. However, these companies do not have any independent right to share this information.

- We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to HomeAway Connect service and offerings, such as service announcements, administrative messages relating to the operation of your property’s calendar, guestbook and newsletters that are considered part of your HomeAway Connect account, without offering you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving them as long as you have not personally deleted your HomeAway Connect account.


Opt Out Cancellation Policy
At anytime, you can delete your HomeAway Connect account. You are in control of the account you have created yourself and established with HomeAway Connect. You just need to log in to your HomeAway Connect account, and then select "Delete this Account". Please note that your free calendar(s) and guestbook(s) will be deleted, and you will no longer receive any communication from HomeAway Connect.
